If Delamey maintains the sniping at SG, might his $2.5mil expiring be good trade bait too?
@hazer hitting on something serious here y'all. Don't harbor any ill will towards Malcolm, but if we we could get something in return for him leaving, all I'd have to say is .... "Bye."

Excellent write up. One question though...
Will this be the first game day thread that won't dissolve into another pointless tanking diatribe by one poster who for someone can't be called a word that rhymes with mole?
Praying we can avoid a tank vs. anti-tank discussion. Dear Lawd I'm sick of hearing about it! Let's go Hawks and actual on-the-court bball talk!
Ps-great write up yo!

Ignoring the ubiquitous tank vs no tank discussion intentionally and for good reason, My only thought after watching the bulls v Hawks game was, "well, between these two doodoo logs, guess the Bulls floated to the top in this one." That is all. Have a nice day and continue.

I got stuck LOLing at Fat Shawn Kemp hahahaha
not a bad showing really for a young tanking team like this. Had a lot of chances to take this one it couldn't convert.
delaney is so bad, he's officially the tank commander.
marco has been great most nights and I might even pick up his jersey if he keeps this up. The dude has some range. Hope he sticks around during the tank, I need a bright spot like that.
schro was great too, thought we really had a chance after that steal and score late In the game. Too bad (maybe? #embracethetank) we couldn't finish well enough down the stretch. Oh well, 1-81 here we come!

Dennis "German Chocolate" Schröder + Marco "Italian Stallion" Mussolini = the Hawks Backcourt "Axis of Evil"?
Too soon?

Wow, guess that's what happens when lw3 gets all that bball news backed up in his system over the summer. It just all gushes out covering everyone with knowledge.
As to the Hawks, well, here goes nothing...
Go Hawks go!

34 wins, 12th in conference, 3rd in division, A/TO: 2.6/1. Dwight personally slaughters us in points and rebounds in at least two games and things get physical (tech and/or election, not necessarily on Dwight but involving him and probably him) in at least one.

Surgery will have to repair the syndesmosis of the ankle joint along with the fibular fracture and likely tibial fracture. I would guess there is at least a posterior mallelolar component to the fracture as well.
And the flux capacitor of the endometrial flarfegnargin will need a chi square examination of the tear (or lack thereof) of the square root of his epididymitis inflammation. LOL

I assume the rest of the Hawks players didn't get the memo on him being cancerous to the locker room? Lol
Yea I seem to recall Bembry and/or Prince (or some other Young guy) saying something about him really taking a lot of time to work with them on moves and getting up to nba speed. Very little evidence of him being a cancer this past season, and he has some legitimate gripes about how he was used.

In semi-related news I just saw this on the tweeter:
The price tag is dropping quickly on Bogdanovic. He entered free agency looking for a deal worth about $50 million for three years, a source said, but that has not materialized, and it’s hard to say exactly where that money would come from. It won't come from the Wizards.

Don't let the door hit ya...
go on and get your (stupid) money

Meh. In my household he is referred to as "Nickelback." Canadian tool bags.
(edit: no offense @capstone21 , just those two canadian affiliates in particular)

Just wondering why it there was the Atlanta guess as his destination? Random guess, salary cap reasons to assume we are most likely choice, or some actual info?

Cviv says we are giving up a 2019 second rounder (from wiz) ... Still awaiting final details...

Only $7-8m thru 2019/20. Would be a nice pickup.

ps Lamar you been MIA, why you disappearing on us.
Work and kids, man. Also really needed a break after that first round Hawks loss. Mad at the team effort (and abilities) and coaching decisions honestly. Really wanted to see how we would fare vs the Cs and Cavs. Saw you tried to reel me back in asking about offseason predictions and whatnot but just haven't had the time since work got nuts. Plus this time of year things get crazy because I do a lot of races on the weekends. Squawk time has been limited to rushed bathroom dumps for several weeks.

Y'all just put this on pause for a bit, once Spud stops menstruating he will come to his senses and stop being such a downer.

Official Game Thread: Hawks at Pelicans

Weird officiating. Thought they couldn't review offensive foul calls except to see if the guy was in the ring, but apparently they can see if the defender was moving. (Right call, wrong reason in this game) Thought they were required to review to check time matters within the last two minutes, they're like, "nah, F that, you get what we say you get." Don't really care too much this season, but hard to take this game seriously when the refs just make crap up on the fly.
