Morey was brought into this. He didn't start these talks. PHI did with MIN. Houston is currently an unwilling party. He also didn't want to mortgage his future for Westbrook. The owner and Harden forced his hand. He was like, it's either me or Chris and obviously, it was Chris. Russ is not a Morey type.

Harden is the most key. Houston wants to keep him at all cost. Based on what I got, they will look at all options SERIOUSLY before they trade James. The thing they are looking at the most is more future 1sts from PHI and 17th from MIN. I think they will get what they want if PHI and MIN wants this deal done bad enough. Houston wants the moon for Harden and if you want him, you will have to do just that. Harden does not want out of Houston. He's extremely happy in HOU but they are limited with future assets.

I got two massive massive deals in the works. First, the weaker of the two deals: 1. Chris Paul Stakes. I've told all of you that Chris Paul trade value is still bad because teams just don't like that contract and don't know when CP3 decline will start and if it starts next year, they don't want to be holding the bag. Well, he gave me exclusive that only two teams are seriously interested in adding Paul. That is the New York Knicks and the wait for it... Houston Rockets. Not LAC, MIL, PHI but HOU. The thing is, Houston isn't going to do a deal as long as Harden is there but if Harden is gone. The two have talked about a clear swap of Westbrook and Paul. Westbrook has more value to OKC and they want to really start the rebuild and see him like a Kobe figure where you can rebuild but still keep the interest of the fans. Steven Adams has the most trade interest on the Thunder and I was told to expect him to be traded to a contender. Dennis also has some value but I was told interest is lower due to his salary for what many think is a backup PG. That leads me into the blockbuster. This has only been in talks but nothing concrete but Rosas/Morey/Brand have discussed a possible blockbuster including the 1st overall pick, D'Angelo Russell, Karl Anthony-Towns, Joel Embiid, P.J. Tucker, Ben Simmons, Josh Richardson, and James Harden. To HOU: 1st overall pick, Josh Richardson and KAT To PHI: James Harden, D'Angelo Russell and P.J. Tucker To MIN: Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons This right now is being held up by Houston who wants more for Harden and MIN who might be looking to trade Embiid or Simmons depending on what they could get back is what he said. He said it will cost full price or the cost of an upgrade. It will not be cheap at all and most teams will be naturally priced out. Teams he think will be interested: Indiana, LAC, NO, Memphis, Miami, Denver, Portland, Dallas, and Brooklyn. This leads credible talk to the KAT wants out talk but doesn't to HOU is willing to trade Harden. They want a lot and that might not be enough.
  4. That's why I had to be more specific. Nicks and minor things play more of a role during practices. Not gameday. Some guys always have nicks and they miss time in practice even if they play the games.
  5. He's reliable enough but health has always been an issue for Kevin. He always has nicks.
  6. They already bet high on Kevin Porter Jr.
  7. He's going to be the big slider. I was told Charlotte likes Wiseman more than Edwards but Ball more than Wiseman. Chicago is looking to trade down and Cleveland is targeting the best wing and like Edwards.
  8. I am not a huge Wood's guy. He's the Kelly Oubre of bigs. He's very productive but at what cost.
  9. I don't believe in it like that. Especially for role players. For players playing 30+. It's more accurate. That said, Wood's been on the RPM top 25 for several years. No reason to think he doesn't add value in general. Nearly 5 WAR, he's your bargain bin Harrell.
  10. I could care less if Toppin or Hunter doesn't go to the combine because their focus is the pre-draft workouts if we have them which we won't and interviews. But I did want to see Wiseman and Edwards, especially Wiseman. But it's about your agent. CAA and Excel Sports is all about control in the process. While Klutch and Omar Wilkes in particular encourages using the combine.
  11. There are two MASSIVE mistakes you can make in this draft class. Comparing Bam Adebayo to Onyeka Okongwu and John Collins to Obi Toppin. They literally have two to three traits in common. Just that alone. Big O has six traits in common with McDyess. Five with Favors. Obi has six to seven traits in common with Al Horford, six with Kyle Kuzma and four with Amar'e. I understand the comparison to some degree but they are not the same. They really don't play alike. Adebayo isn't the only verstiale big man in today's NBA or past tense. We have had McDyess, Favors, and some others. It's because Adebayo is a star is why but he's not like him. There are no indicators. KB, stop lying, your boy JJJ just literally had one of the worse defense RPM in the NBA this year and you were saying he's going to be a top 10 defender in year 2 in the NBA. He's even below my boy Bagley. http://www.espn.com/nba/statistics/rpm/_/page/2/position/6

Trying to get promise information. I am having a hard time right now. I really want to know about Edwards, Toppin, and Cole Anthony.
  13. He was a good empty gym shooter in general. Once he started getting moving, his shooting percentage sharply decreased.
  14. They are more open than they are in the regular season as they play with LeBron a lot more in the playoffs. We seen this story when we played Cleveland. LeBron playing a lot of minutes changes how you defend the others.
  15. I've said this before to Andrew Kelly and others but Trae Young can be a better defender than Kevin Huerter even though Kevin is a superior team defender. His man defense is flat out awful and his lack of stamina makes it impossible for him to ever be a net neutral defender. I've been saying for a couple of year, Trae has excellent lateral quickness, wiry strong, has great BBIQ, and when he communicates is effective on defense but him more than others, he needs a great defensive cast around him because he does have natural limitations due to his lack of size. That said, you can build a team top 10 defense around Young and he can be an average defender in this league but his energy level has to match his energy level on offense. If this is the case, he needs to be in much better shape but he might need to be limited to 30-32 MPG like Coach Bud did with Giannis to get max effort. I know when the playoffs come, I know will hide Trae as best as we can since he's needed to play 38-40 MPG but like I said, Trae's person to watch is John Stockton. Similar wiry strong, with excellent hands, who has a similar frame and lateral quickness. He just needs to play with more energy on the defensive end. The same energy he has on offense. Atlanta needs to really have a strong 1-3 in the PG ranks. If you resign Teague, you still need a strong 3rd string PG. All of the PG's we need due to our system needs to be able to run a system or playmake at an high level or do both at a high level. We need to figure out how to maximize Trae Young but do it and still field a winner.
  16. Dedmon was more massive for us than Teague was. Dedmon was critical for us. Having him and Capela should solve 99.99% of our center issues last year.
  17. Jeff clearly was a massive upgrade for us as a backup PG: https://winsadded.com/wins-added-premium-users/teammate-net-impact/
  18. Jeff actually did a good job offensively during his time. It's defensively where he was worse than Trae. Obviously due to his style of play, he was far more productive on defense making his def RAPTOR more reasonable than it should be. He was a worse defender than Trae.
  19. They do an excellent job of exposing the gaps but these things can be fix by simply playing smart.
  20. I keep saying this but Miami biggest strength is they try to find your weaknesses and exploit it. They arent that good. They are your Woody era Hawks with a lot better roster balance and coaching. Boston is the better team on paper and talent wise. They just need to play like a smart team and play to win the game instead of playing to win MVP aka Brown and Tatum. Game 5 was exactly what I wanted from them. Just execute.
