  1. Yes. Giannis and JC take the same space on offense and neither are centers at all on defense. Giannis is a freelance defender like Millsap. He's a superior defensive fit with Capela. Offensively, we need someone who's great at the PnR so both work with Giannis, I do like JC ability to stretch the floor more though. Offensively, JC is not a fit with Giannis but he's a better fit than Capela. For Trae's sake we need one of them (JC or Capela). Overall, I don't see MIL trading him. Rental packages usually suck outside of what the Pels got for AD but that's because LAL was desperate and Bron is old. Even this offer is a clear overpay for Atlanta for a Giannis rental. I was just posting a package I thought would be clearly the best on the market. The best I can see is a Wiggins and two 1sts for Giannis. But JC and our 1st should be more than enough. Most lottery teams lack the assets to make a trade and be able to keep him. I do think Denver has a chance: MPJ and Gary Harris package.
  2. For Giannis rental, its simple: Off the table: Cam, Trae, Hunter and Capela We need the two way wings and Capela and Trae is our franchise player. On the table: John, Kevin, and our 2020 1st. If you can top that and MIL is willing to do it, congrats! But I don't see how anyone can top that and have a good squad after trading for Giannis. Trae Cam Hunter Giannis Capela We would need to fill out the bench.
  3. Their depth been trash all year. They primarily are only effective when paired with Bron and in the playoffs, the starters play a lot more so it's a lot harder for rotation players
  4. The Lakers probably have the best home court advantage too. LA, superstars in the front row to show out for, etc.
  5. I remember going through this and everyone would just joke that we are pretenders. I keep saying this shit! It's great that you are tremendous at executing possession by possession in the regular season when people aren't playing that hard all of the time but everyone is trying to execute in the playoffs possession by possession. You gotta coach and shit. Mix it up like Nick Nurse. You can tell Bud is a career assistant and not this coaching superstar. He's a tactician, very good at player development if you fit his system and he's great at the feel for the game but he rigid, doesn't have a backup plan, and just doesn't have a championship feel as a coach. Some guys aren't even that good at coaching but they have that feel like Doc, Rudy T, Lue, and Erik. S
  6. What's the most Milwaukee can get for a Giannis rental? Any deal you do, you gotta be able to retain him afterwards.
  7. There is no reason to do the trade then. Not trading a potential star or superstar for a rental. I don't care if its Giannis or prime LeBron I'll pass on any trades of Trae or Cam. Add Hunter too. It's too hard to find wings. You got a top pick, Huerter and Collins. Maybe even a 2021 1st but that's it. That would be awesome if he was
  8. He never changes what he does. Teams download it and figure out how to beat you in the playoffs. I been telling fools like 21 that coach Bud is fool's gold and always have been. Regular season coach superstar Playoffs, he's worthless Him and that stupid ass system
  9. Al has no reason to lie to me about it. I am not a journalist. Woody had no reason to lie, he said it publicly. He can execute in his own role. He just kept letting himself get in his own way like Baze but worse since he had a lot more flaws. Some QBs can get in their own way, Fitzpatrick, Winston, Grossman, Farve, etc. It's a general term of they have a mastery of what everyone is suppose to do. Not that they are Peyton Manning while doing it.
  10. I haven't heard nothing on Giannis to anyone right now. Just saying if he became available for a rental. That said, if Giannis was really available for a rental. I would want to keep: Trae Young Cam Reddish De'Andre Hunter Bruno Kevin and John can be traded.
  11. Outside of Cam Reddish and Trae Young, I am willing to trade everyone for Giannis rental. Hunter Kevin Capela Collins our 1st 2020 Trae Cam Torrey Craig Giannis Horford
  12. Woody felt Josh was the smartest player he's ever coached and when I spoke to Al, he said Josh knew where everyone is suppose to be like a quarterback and had a coaches mind. Josh issue is feel for the game, decision making, thinking he is capable of more than what he is, and all of the major barriers on top of that. Small hands - hurt ball handling and a number of other areas. Weak hands - rebounding, controlling the rock, deep passing Poor first step - kills dribble drive and a number of other areas Poor touch - free throws, shooting from range Tunnel vision on full drive drives - feel for the game obviously. Built like a 3 but 5 abilities I said it then, because of his athleticism, explosiveness, talent, and skills that he did have in his prime, he one of the more productive players in the NBA but he was ineffective for the most part and at best a 6th to 7th man on a great team in his prime. He had no business starting. Josh wanted to be great, he had no shot with his barriers. I will say, his enablers did not help either.
  13. Generational talent and skills but this dude might had more barriers than Josh Smith as a prospect. The good about Cam is that a vast majority of his barriers outside of weak hands and explosiveness are minor barriers while Josh had a shitload of major barriers. I keep saying this, but there is no reason he can't be the best player in the NBA one day. He has the potential to mix high volume 3pt shooting, with high-end drawing fouls, he should become a good finisher once he gets the floater down and he should become a decent PnR passer in the future. Not Trae much less Kevin's level but Lou Will's level. Add his Corey Brewer defensive talent but with more bulk, I think you got a supreme SG on your hands.
  14. Ya'll are seeing who within like Jeff.
  15. Elite bounce Luka or Trae Got us Cam Reddish Dope!
  16. I don't agree. I believe he wanted all three just like Trae. It was about money, he felt he wasn't being respected. That will never happen to Trae because he will get the max deal. Minny didn't have that money, there wasn't a cap in place but let's assume we didn't have max money for Trae but did for KG, would Trae just be cool with it or would he want to be traded knowing Trae's personality? I disagree 100% on this. I really do and I rarely if ever have disagree with you 100%. Just ask all Stephon former coaches and talk to J.R. People who coached the two would be appalled by the comparison. Stephon is high maintenance as is Trae but he's not a headcase
  17. Come on son, let's not do this. Stephon wanted to win. Rider wanted to put up buckets, he even said as much in interviews. Marbury and Trae suffer from the yolo thing too much. Luka does it too but he's 6'7 and 230. He can kinda get away with it. If you want to attack Marbury lack of impact, sure, go ahead but its ridiculous to compare him to Stephon Marbury who at his worse is still pleasurable compared to Rider
  18. I see Trae having a lot of the issues Marbury did. Both are extremely gifted players. Similar talent level. Let's look at the squads. That 29 win Suns team had a number of differences but Marion and Joe didn't average that much more points in the 60 win season. Also the depth on the 29 win team was massively worse than on the 60 win team and yes, Nash fit Mike D system a lot more as he would run it to a T and could really shoot it, Murbury lack of high end jumper was needed but also as Basketball thinking mentioned, Murbury was a safe assist guy, not a risk assist guy like Nash and Kidd was and Trae is. I think you are giving Marbury a hard time. That 29 win Suns had Jake Vonshul as a major contributor. They had no depth. That next season, they brought in guys who had success around the league and Nash was a perfect fit
  19. This still doesn't make him an empty stats guy. It just means his playmaking doesn't make others better. Empty stats guys are obvious, aka guys like J.R. Rider, etc. Marbury is simply not an impact player.
  20. I never saw either player as empty stats but I can see how one would see Marbury negatively.
  21. We all know he is much better than Murbury. It's the style of play the two share in that they are heavily playmaking scoring guards who aren't keen to stick to the offense.
