  1. Every team qualifies for the tournament. And each team plays a minimum of 5 games. So even if we lose in the 1st round of the tournament, we'll still play another game. NBA-AAU is a great concept.
  2. I was top 5 in FG% 2 years ago, and I finish well . . . but you all hated me . . And top 5 in rebounds
  3. Did you just snap your fingers twice, and make a "Z" motion, after you said that? I'm one of the Dennis supporters. I know good and well that this team needs Dennis.
  4. LOL . . I know, right? I just want him to be better than Josh Smith.
  5. The Lakers quickly shut down Brandon Ingram last year in Summer League, after he came down with cramps. With Trae out the game, these guys can't even dribble or pass. Let's get a long look at Spellman for the rest of the Summer League. Maybe he'll surprise us all, and pull a Kyle Kuzma and start balling.
  6. Damn that. Collins has hit the deck multiple times because the rest of those guys out there aren't of his caliber. All it takes is for some clumsy dude to roll into John's knee, and that's it for the season. I like watching the guy play as much as everyone else. But this is a glorified scrimmage that means absolutely nothing for a guy that's already proven like Collins.
  7. So Trae is done for the day, but Collins isn't? Get him out the damn game before he comes down with a REAL injury.
  8. Trae desperately needs a midrange game. If he's not physical enough to get to the rim, develop the midrange game. There have been many PGs in the history of the NBA who weren't athletic freaks, but knew how to score from multiple areas out on the court. This was one of them . .
  9. And . . . . he's back on the court . . . smh. Even the announcers want him out.
  10. I hope Pierce stands by his word. I don't want to see Collins for the rest of the summer. The team overall isn't talented anyway, so let them suffer without John.
  11. Wow . . . think about all of that money Isaiah Thomas lost out on. He went from thinking that he was about to get a supermax deal, to essentially a piecemeal deal of probably the MLE for 1 year . . . if that. Capela will probably have to take what Houston is offering. If he can negotiate an early option, that may to his advantage. Then again, he could be cutting his deal in half, if the Rockets decide not to pick up the team option ( if he wants a player option ).
  12. FYI . . . only 4 teams have cap space right now to sign free agents on the market to significant contracts https://www.spotrac.com/nba/cap/ Atlanta - 22.35 mill Sacramento - 19.53 mill Chicago - 15.39 mill Dallas - 13.08 million Lakers have .39 million Those are the only 5 with cap space. So here's where the bad contracts and the ability for those top 4 teams come in. If a guy like Capela at least wants a 4/60 deal, only 3 teams currently can make a play for him. But if one of the teams over the cap want to free up space, they can get those top 3 teams involved in a deal, so that the can sign Capela to the deal he wants.
  13. His options are limited https://www.spotrac.com/nba/atlanta-hawks/cap/ 12 contracts guaranteed 2 contracts unguaranteed
  14. Trae stat padding on that last play. No sense jacking up a wild 3 pointer to bring him down to 3 - 12 shooting. He takes the lay-up, goes to 4 - 12 shooting, and got over 20 points ( 21 ). Thank you for finally playing like you belong in this league. Keep it up. I'm out of likes for the day, so I will agree.
  15. Prediction . . . Trae will have the ball in his hands to tie or win the game at the end. But he'll have to watch out for Dorsey trying to steal the ball from him first.
