  1. @NBASupes If we draft Sarr and he busts and Edey turns out to be a superstar, how would you react? I'm joking, but also serious.
  2. Trae and Murray failed heavily due to poor offensive fit, but I'll give you that you did say you didn't like it. I believe in JJ's development, I think he will improve in that area, but if you don't think so I see why.
  3. Also anyone saying JJ can't slide to three must forgot we made it to the conference finals playing Huerter and Bogi on the perimeter.
  4. This team is gonna look different. Is Paul George someone you look at now? Gonna need legit playoff vets to avoid the playin with a team this young.
  5. I am enjoying it, I'm loving it. Its a good thing that a guy as talented as he is won't be expected to carry the torch yet.
  6. The fact that they got Kobe last year helps add gaurd versatility too. Gonna be interesting what happens with OO, Hunter, and AJ. Safe to assume Murray is probably gone too.
  7. This guy isn't gonna be the savior for this team, even as he matures he's gonna likely be behind JJ in the pecking order. That's a high level second or third option right there
  8. How is OO and Sarr too small together? Thats like saying Bam and AD is too small.
  9. If Okongwu can play center, this dude for sure can. If you believe in his shooting, play them both or trade one. This offseason is gonna be fun.
  10. Can't have both Ingram and Hunter, if Sarr is the guy we bring in, I don't want Ingram at all. Double down on defense.
  11. Sarr is easily the guy. Hawks University will iron him out
  12. Cause he's 27 and not getting younger and isn't a first or second option type player. He's a year older then Ingram. I don't know what it would take, but I'd strongly consider it.
  13. He's not my first choice, I'd prefer Bridges and would pay more to get him.
  14. Naw at this point its proven that you can't keep both pgs on the roster.
  15. Things to also consider, Murray takes almost double the threes that Ingram takes and has a lower usage rate. One of the main issues between Trae and Dejounte was that Dejounte's methodical, self creation style offense clashed with Trae's talent as a disruptor and offensive engine, and thats with him taking 7 threes a game!(Ingram doesn't even hit 4). Dejounte likes to find his own balance between playmaking and scoring, he's not a read and react type player or a guy who can be put in scoring position that draws doubles. I don't watch Ingram, but I would think that he'd be more capable of translating to a scorer focused role, but his stats don't support that. Someone let me know, can he play off of others?
  16. I didn't want Kel'el Ware as the center for this team cause I like centers that have edge to them and in my opinion he doesn't have enough to be the last line of defense for this team. Say what you want about Capela, but he has that dawg in him. OO is great as a one on one defender and improved his scoring this season, but his size/length doesn't pack the paint. One of the things we took for granted from John Collins was his secondary rim protection that he provided. Once opposing players got past the three point line, it would place tons of pressure on the center to clean it all up, and thats when JC would cover the gaps. If you look at this current roster this season, the only pf that can bring some of that was Mouhamed Gueye and he's raw right now. JJ is more of a roamer/team defender and Saddiq Bey was embarrassing. I say all that to make the point that Kel'el ware makes sense if you pair him with OO in the front court instead of replacing him. They cover each others weak areas pretty well. OO although increasing his range, is still more comfortable closer to the basket and isn't a true stretch 5 yet, Ware shot 42% from three last year. Ware has a 7ft7 wingspan that makes up for OO's lack of size OO makes up for Ware's lack of toughness and can gaurd the one on one matchups. If you think JJ can slide down to the three then to me this is where you can get alot of value. Trae finally gets a stretch 5, the team can actually run a 5 out lineup that doesn't have them sacrificing defense for offense, we can run a dual rim protecting front court that is also mobile and athletic enough to not sacrifice too much in the perimeter. Think of pairngs like KAT/Gobert, Mobely/Allen, and Giannis/Lopez.
  17. Or trading him before that was an option. Like how Detroit and Toronto did with Bey and Siakam.
  18. 100% He's too methodical with his offense and kills ball movement. Dre had this problem until recently so I hope DJ improves on that end.
  19. I think playing with Trae and Jalen would keep him happy since he'd get alot of shot attempts. The questionable part would be defense. Edit: Actually I might pump the breaks on that. The number of shots he's currently getting in Portland wouldn't happen here.
  20. If I'm the Hawks, I'm on the phone with Portland asking for Ayton. Our pick and Capela might not be enough, but I would start there. I love the idea of Trae, Jalen, and Ayton on paper, even if he has character concerns.
  21. I don't really have tiers, but here's who I like: Donovan Clingan - Size and defense Tristan Da Silva - Size, shooting, team defense, IQ Ron Holland - Athleticism, hustle, potential Dalton Knecht - Scoring, shooting, aggressiveness Jakobe Walter - Shooting, hustle, defense
  22. Nahh, one of the main issue with the Trae and Murray pairing was that neither really helped the other while on the court.
  23. Sounds like passion to me.
