  1. I want Okogie or Huerter if he stays in the draft at 19. I also like Jontay Porter, Troy Brown, and Lonnie Walker there. Maybe a flier on Melton or Ellie Okobo at 30. Kieta Bates Diop wouldnt be bad.

  3. Bamba at 3 would make me root for Schlenk to be fired. That's so bad. Can at least root for Bagley since he's a dog on the court. The nicest thing anyone can say about Bamba is that he's long and talks well lol.
  4. http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/22272947/zach-lowe-milwaukee-bucks https://www.theringer.com/nba/2018/1/29/16944074/nba-trade-deadline-primer This isn't new or made up. But I do think this is being read into a little much. Dennis doesn't really sugarcoat his goals for the NBA. Remeber when he laid down the ultimatum: https://nba.nbcsports.com/2015/10/21/hawks-pg-dennis-schrder-says-he-wants-to-start-will-look-for-other-opportunities-if-he-doesnt/ He wants to be a star, champion etc. unfortunately doesn't seem like he channels that energy into defense or 3 point shooting.
  5. JJJ, Wiggins (availability I guess), Randle, Smart, Wendell, Trae
  6. On point 1.. fair enough. I wasn't saying it as if it was special, but our last coach didn't want to be here. On 3, the style of the offense is important in making sure that these guys develop properly. And plus I'm not overly interested in planning for the next coach right now, I'd much rather hope Lloyd can just keep the job.
  7. Don't feel too strongly any way about this. Will wait to hear what his philosophies are / how assistants shake out but optimistic because: 1. He actually wanted to be here. 2. Players loooooove this guy. Pretty much universally. And he's been around top shelf players and guys that needed to grind their way through from the very bottom. 3. He's worked with a Spurs disciple as well as Mike D'Antoni so I'm hopeful about his choice in style of offense.
  8. Exactly ball handler the way to go.
  9. Surprise! http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/sixers/Reports-Sixers-to-interview-Jay-Larranga.html
  10. He seems to really wanna come here. Which is a + I guess. Here is the full article http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/sixers/lloyd-pierce-sixers-76ers-assistant-atlanta-hawks-head-coach-interviews-status-20180509.html?mobi=true

How can Larranaga teach the Hawks how to win when he can't even win the Hornets coaching job

They are pretty young. It's not the same situation as the Hawks last year.

Nah, they won 55+ games and are generally pretty young.

Tonight's Philly game has been one of the most blatant fixes I've seen.
  15. https://www.ajc.com/sports/basketball/hawks-narrow-coach-search-four-candidates/N3DXvwxFdRFWwTWoeShPTK/ Alright so the finalists are Lloyd, Silas, Tibbets, and Larranaga.
  16. Lebron says Pierce is one of his favorite coaches ever. I dunno how much Lebron listens to his coach but yeah there's that.
  17. I was looking for stuff on Lloyd Pierce and well there's not a lot but I think if he doesn't work out as a coach he may be able to suit up for us Edit: Woj says the candidates in serious consideration are Silas, Tibbets and Pierce.
  18. It can be both. Game 1 shooters couldnt hit a shot, game 2 you get 1 point (lol) out of Simmons and blow a 22 pt lead, game 3 they can't inbound the ball. Boston sports teams have some voodoo that makes everyone else turn to mush I swear.
  19. Lmao this cracked me up. Sixers really choked this series away. Don't get too ahead of yourself though. Suns made Kokoskov official and he's still coaching the Jazz.
  20. They basically have their pick so will be interesting to see who they go with. Should get their guy.
  21. Dont think any of the candidates the Hawks are listed as looking at would make me mad. Fresh blood, no retreads.
  22. The mystery man was Jay Larranaga.
  23. Silas was the guy that made the most sense to me from the start. Tibbets also makes a lot of sense.

I know you're mocking KB but yeah they aren't badly constructed at all. Embiid can create shots on just about anybody, Simmons can get to the rim pretty easy and he's one of the best passers. Surround them with shooters is about all they need. Defensively they are crazy big and make shit tough. I still think if you combat them with an elite defensive big you can give them a lot of problems though. Outside of Gobert, there isn't anybody really equipped to deal with them though. Draymond too small, AD too skinny (not that AD would get abused though).
