  1. I don't think it was the KD deal that have them stuck. It is the Beal deal with the NTC.
  2. It's bad enough that the Wiz gave Beal a max contract, they compounded the issue by giving him a No Trade Clause... Suns are in trouble. They also have no future picks.
  3. Funny how narratives can change depending on the jersey....... Heat trading for Trae Young would give Jimmy Butler another chance at a championship Trae Young has been dismissed as an empty stats player. That narrative would change if he were in a Miami Heat jersey. By Brennan Sims | 8:00 AM EDT Atlanta Hawks v Miami Heat / Michael Reaves/GettyImages Consider this: only two players in NBA history have managed to average 20 points and nine assists in their careers. One is the legendary Oscar Robertson and the other is none other than Trae Young. The diminutive dynamic playmaker has led the Hawks to a top-10 offense three times in his career, with a top two finish in 2022. https://allucanheat.com/posts/heat-trade-trae-young-jimmy-butler-championship-chance
  4. I think your post below the initial tweet was confusing.
  5. Ya'll are always dreaming big with your KD's and Bookers....here's your reality check: Clint for Nurkic (2yrs/18 amd 19 mil each) and pick #23.
  6. The game is the same, but the names have changed!!! Let's Play: If you had to keep one - who would you keep? If you had to keep two - who would you keep? And why?
  7. Not Falcons related, but.......I had nowhere else to put this, but he's not wrong
  8. I would still like to know what derailed this young man this season. Lost season when the expected contribution was high.
  9. Hawks are in need of at least one defensive game changer in the starting lineup, ideally in the front court. Nobody is scared of any of our guys on defense.

  11. Also note that there was a rumor of the Saints interest in Penix. They were at 14.
  12. That's because he isn't a SG.
  13. It requires a team WANTING to trade up though doesn't it. From all accounts there wasn't a team WILLING to trade up so Atlanta could move down.
  14. Why are we seeing so many playoff teams having these low point scoring quarters, 10 points and such?

  16. Sucks not watching Hawks basketball. I'm so bored. Makes an even long summer, LONGER!!!
  17. Where will Zach Edey be drafted? Jeff Zillgitt, USA TODAY: Phoenix Suns – No. 20 overall Zillgitt writes: "Edey was outstanding in the tournament, leading Purdue to the title game where he had 37 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks in the loss to UConn. Had 40 points and 16 rebounds against Tennessee in an Elite Eight game. Edey is a bear to defend in the low post... But in the NBA, is he mobile enough, especially defensively, to keep up with style and pace?" Jonathan Wasserman, Bleacher Report: Phoenix Suns – No. 23 overall Wasserman writes: "[Edey]'s changed a number of minds regarding his pro outlook and potential to carve out an NBA role, even without adding any modern skills. His combination of 7'4" height and one-handed touch creates a tremendous advantage in the post. And improved mobility has led to increased, quicker defensive court coverage around the key." Kyle Boone, CBS Sports: Washington Wizards – No. 26 overall (via Los Angeles Clippers) Boone writes: "In a head-to-head matchup with projected top-10 pick Donovan Clingan in the national championship game, Edey scored 37 points and showed why even the most capable defenders may have trouble slowing him in the NBA." https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba/draft/2024/04/23/2024-nba-mock-draft-zach-edey-top-picks/73428801007/
