Between Bamba, Bagley and JJJ - one will be a superstar, one will be a significant role player and one will be mediocre - that's just the odds. The Hawks just have to get the right one if these are the choices (I didn't include Ayton since we don't have a shot at him).

Bagley - loves his ability to score in a myriad of ways and his relentless motor Bamba - can dominate a game without touching the ball JJJ - modern day big, defend and shoot the 3. Doctors think he's not done growing yet (since some bone thing is still open) may grow 2 more inches.

Easy? Really? That requires two top 5 picks and regardless of all the rumors tje chance if that happening is less than more likely.

Ok to have a foundation but you still need a cornerstone. Stars want more than anything to play with other Stars, not solid foundations.

What is Dallas offering to move up? Unless it's something like their 2019 top 1 protected 1st, 2020 unprotected 1st - i just don't see how it happens. They have nothing else of value on their roster besides DSJr.

Come 11:00pm draft night, I'll hear a lot of the Squawk crying about 'why didn't we do this or that to move up'. Latching unto every rumor as fact will just leave you let down and exhausted. My approach - we are picking at #3, #19, #30 and #34. With the possibility of getting #14 from Denver to combine with #19 to move up. That's it. Not the pie in the sky wishes and unicorns.

He's getting more than the MLE from somebody. The MLE is something like 4 yes 36 million. If his agent can't get him at least 40 million, Evans should start representing himself. Who has money to pay him? True Contending teams only have the MLE, rebuilding teams don't need him. He had a decent season last year but as usual got injured, again. Playoff teams from this past season 4-8 in both conferences have no money either (only Indy in the East)

It's aleady been reported that Grizz anticipates using the MLE to sign Evans.

That's why I've said i see us combining two of the picks to move up, or if we keep 4 one will be a draft and stazh.

We'll see what happens on draft night. Doesn't seem like anybody really knows what's going on in the NBA right now. No one knows squat. 2 weeks ago Boston wanted to move into the top 3, Dallas wanted to move into top 3, last week Phoenix wanted to get another top 10 pick, LAC wants to move into the top 3, Kings wanted out of #2 spot, Grizz looking at trading #4 to move Parsons, Hawks looking to trade down and on and on and on. No sense in getting to high or too low when it comes to draft rumors. Between now and Thursday expect more rumors and rumors of trades.
