    Unfortunately, it's not just the backcourt having difficulty with miscommunication or lack of communication on defense. Guys have to talk on defense.

    Things I'll be looking at: 1. The PF and C defensive assignments: Lopez will pull CC from the paint, CC doesn't like to stray too far leaving Lopez open for 3s. Giannis vs Bey, oh boy . Or does CC guard Giannis. 2. DJ vs Lillard, or do we see a lot of Hunter vs Lillard. 3. This has gotta be OO's time to step up, yes he has the best +/-, but he's not been impactful. Let's see the Giannis stopper today. 4. JJ - will be interesting to see how Quin deploys him this game. 5. We shot 37% from 3 last game, can we do a better job on 3pt defense in this game. 6. Will we see a Hunter repeat performance? 7. Trae - better shot selection.

    I trust more in JJs ability to do something with the ball other than to just shoot or pass the ball back to Trae if he doesn'thave a clean look. I see easier looks for the rest of the starting lineup. Just provides more offensivel versatility in that unit.

    What kind of usage does Bey have over these first 2 games? Seems JC level low. If he isn't getting the 3pt shot attempts to be the floor spreader next to CC. Now what? And he certainly isn't the above the rim player for easy Trae lobs. Another reason to start JJ.

    In the first 2 games OO has not looked good against Nic Richards and Hartenstein. They have out-hustled and out-muscled him.

    Lots of defensive miscues that I think can be corrected. Quin has lots of tape.

    Understand this sentiment^.....but he has so much to work on. Not sure if he was asked to bulk up, but doesn't look like good weight to me.

    The biggest difference is Jalen's ability to make reads and plays out of these situations......I trust that. There are options to what he can do once he puts the ball on the floor.

    Said this after game 1..... Jalen's ability to get a rebound and initiate the offense will also help.

    I need a repeat performance vs the Bucks please, please, please. Loved that Quin left him in with 2 fouls early....said he was in a rhythm and adjusted his defensive coverage to help him stay out of foul trouble. By keeping him in, instead of yanking him.after the 2 quick fouls, Dre was able to maintain his rhythm for the entire game.

    OO was nondescript - did nothing. Seeing him in person he looks too heavy, no muscle definition. Baby fat look.
