  1. .... you must be fun at parties. Yikes.
  2. Robinson was seen as 'too nice' before Duncan made him a winner.
  3. Ok, I'll fade off into the Bolivian on this one. Seems I'm outnumbered. Im not gonna be one of the miserable ones rooting for things to fail so they can say they were right tho. I'll leave that to (we all know who). Hahaa.
  4. You're not reading anything I'm writing.
  5. I want Pero back now. Sad-face emoji.
  6. Who'd choose Snyder over Trae? That's casual talk.
  7. You're making things up. If you don't interview people, you never know if you hire the right person. Full stop.
  8. Yes. What if a guy you didn't know ultimately shows you the best vision moving forward. You deny yourself that opportunity by doing the 'good ol boy' farcical interview process. Last time we did that, we ended up with a nepo-hire on the staff. Folks rightfully called foul on that. Let's keep that same energy. I get what you're saying. I just disagree this is as open/shut as yall see it. It's ok, REH, I won't deny your right to be wrong.
  9. Yall clearly are reading something I'm not saying. There are no other openings. There is no need to hire anyone right now. A push to hire him now gives Snyder 100% leverage. You never make a hire under those circumstances. We're bending ourselves over a barrel. I'm not crazy here. And there's several reasons not to make a hire mid-season. There's a reason it's so rare. If they need him to come in now to determine who to get rid of then we're in for worse shape, from a FO standpoint, than I can imagine.
  10. The reports aren't that they're 'looking to interview' him. The reports suggest a hire is imminent. This isn't the start of a process, it's the end. So, I'll ask again, why are we moving so fast? It's unnecessary. And, if we don't have an actual interview process, we don't know if he's the right guy for the job or not.
  11. It's not confusing. If we're "in talks", why not wait? We're the only opening so we're effectively bidding against ourselves for his services. The rest of this year is trashed at this point. We're in need of substantive changes that can really only happen via offseason training. So what's the hurry? There's no need for urgency.
  12. A question, to which I have flimsy answers. Why are we, seemingly, bidding against ourselves here? This dude is an upgrade but let's not pretend this is Phil Popovich walkin' in with rangs or something.
  13. Wish I could like this post multiple times. Folks out here agenda-ing.
  14. So any takers on the 'loser leave town' bet? Trae gets traded, I'll leave. Trae doesn't get traded, you leave.
  15. I think anyone who thinks he's gonna be traded should volunteer to a leave the site if it doesn't happen. Raise the stakes on such comments.
  16. TJ McConnell, of course. He fits better in a motion scheme.
  17. Can we be honest? The real story here is Quin and Trae have the same hairstyle, basically.
  18. Ooooohhhh, do tell. Seriously though, we don't have the infrastructure for that yet (NIL $, $ for staff, etc).
  19. He must've come to practice with them oversized shorts and they were like, "Nah, I'm out."
  20. Bwhy his arms not folded? I are confused.
  21. Although he's not my first choice, I'm ok with it. We talk about "rooms" in football as in the "QB room", the "WR room", etc. This hire certainly improves our "coaches room", so to speak.
  22. As KB pointed out, this could be a name-only deal to avoid paying compensation to UTA.
  23. Fair point as I do recall Dan E. strAinge hinting at asking for comp if he got back into coaching. And are we gonna call this a squd-bomb since @Spud2nique gave us this news? I say, yes.
  24. Oh no, we bout to get fleeced by another dude wanting personnel duties? We don't learn.
