I don't blame Trae for taking some time before doing the media thing. I hope he got some coaching on it. There are very few in sports media nowadays that are "out for the truth". They're all out to make a name for themselves and, as the tweet @terrell posted clearly illustrates, they take pleasure in "bombarding" people with questions in the guise of journalism. It makes them feel tough and they all back-slap and high-five each other afterwards. "Yeah, you showed him. Ya think I'll make sportscenter?" True, it takes asking difficult questions to get to the crux of the issue. But there is value in being genuine in the quest for that knowledge. I feel that's not what we're going to see once the mics are shoved in Trae's face.0 Instead, we're gonna see a 'who can get him to say something stupid first' session thats not about seeking knowledge but more about who can go viral .... then parlay it into appearances on 98.7 the Beast in Chicago or 96.5 the Score in Philly or whatever other random place. Good luck to the young man, he's gonna need it.

He spoke glowingly about how Trae allowed himself to becoached.by Nate. Glowingly. Now that things didnt work out for his friend, things have turned. Seeing this latest tweet should surprise no one. And it's not necessarily some glimpse into "how former players see trae".
