If the Warriors had a mascot, I’d pick a fight with it.

Whenever I see a mascot, I give it an 'I wish you would' look.  Paired with the 'angry black man face' usually wards them off.

If they knew how terrified I actually was, they'd pounce.

@kg01 is afraid of mini giraffes ?

    but opulence ...he has it..

I'm afraid of mascots.  Real talk. They always try to embarrass you in public in the name of being wacky.

You never know if they're targeting you cause you can't tell if they're actually looking at you or not.

    Those lifeless eyes, man.  Terrifying.

The NBA needs to do away with stupid pick protections.

If teams what to move up for a player that they want so badly, then they should actually pay up fully.

Everyone who helped come up with that dumb idea of pick protections needs to be slapped.

Pick protection is the ultimate b*tch move.  If you want to trade a 1st, have some gonads and trade a f*cking 1st.

    None-a this meally-mouthed, "Uh I'll trade a 1st ...... but only if it falls between 12 and 17, then it's 2 2nds."

    STFU, b*tch.

Sorry, still a little salty.  But I'm gettin thru it, I'm gettin thru it.

Golden State gonna sign Dwight.  On yahoo today

No.  I don't really want to sign him back.  Merely suggesting jOkafor would be as bad a signing.

I'd take him in a heartbeat. I get why he's considered bad, but as a bench player I think he has some value.

May as well sign Howard back.

    Do Lonnie Walker

Lonnie Walkuh?  You want me to do Lonnie Walkuh?  Oh you mean Elfrid Walker?  Same dude who said the world ain't real, it's all an 'illusion'?

Yeah, good luck convincing me that hairstyle isn't ... *ahem* ... chemically induced.  Are you picking up what I'm puttin down here, bro?

I'm saying decision making is probably in the 'con' column of his pros/cons breakdown.

Have fun with that, Coach Pop.  Walker's likely outcome is as that really good dunker at the Y straight beastin' on weekend warriors.  Meanwhile, the old-heads on the sidelines sayin', "Uh ya know he used-ta play in tha league?"

Gotta love Embiid.  Threw all types of shade on Ayton’s defense.  And I just don’t know how nasty Bamba can be.  Gobert is nasty.

Just getting a glimpse into these guys games and personalities a bit I liked Miles Bridges and Devencienzo.  Lonnie Walker seemed like a Spur-type and Porter Jr.’s is just an interesting profile to follow.  F$@k the rest of em if they ain’t Hawks.

Bridges is too small to play 4, too slow to play 3 and can't shoot.  Have fun with that, CHA.  Oh and the fact that CHA wanted him pretty much guarantees he's a bust.

Divincenzo is about 6'3" not 6'5" so I like him only as a 6th MOY type.

I got the ginzu knives out for all these non-Hawks.  Come at me, bro!!!

Easy to follow.  We've seen it in action with Schlenk for a year now in negotiations with Charlotte, Dallas and Bud.  Sounds like he even lost the negotiation over who to draft this year and had to go with someone other than his choice.  Still waiting for him to win his first round of negotiations.

He nailed Collins last year and needs to nail this year's picks because nailing picks is what he has going for him (note that suboptimal trades can still work out fine but are by definition suboptimal - you can still turn a profit while leaving money on the table).

True but that shat catches up to you eventually.

First, that deal for Philly has huge upside.  I'm assuming they like Smith a lot so it makes sense.  The pick is freaking unprotected unlike the one we got for giving up a much higher rated player.

Second, Bud owned Slink when they negotiated his release.

True the pick is the thing.  I have no faith that Smith will be anything other than a perennial dunk contest participant.  And it comes as no surprise that Slink got owned in a negotiation.  He's a guy that sits across the table getting own'd but acting like he's in control just to give the impression that he's not getting own'd but everybody with a brain can clearly see that he's getting own'd but pretending he's not.

    Try to follow that.

Also, I'm riding with @Spud2nique in this battle with @KB21.  Even if he "called" it, it was luck.

    That's all I got, spud.

We could have gotten more from Dallas is all I have to say. It’s in the past now but Donnie Nelson would have given up his wife for Doncic. Actually he should prolly give her away anyways but I digress...

You've got different people making decisions.  You have one guy who was a big trader and acquired a ton of picks and hit and missed but got them Embiid, Saric and Simmons.  Then you have another guy who dealt a top 10 pick + Tatum for Fultz and then chose not to keep Bridges despite the obvious fit.  I'm eyebrow raising at the second guy.

Well, considering Brett Brown is Budenholzer'ing them, we need to be sure to seek trades with PHI in the near term.

Shiiiii, even Slink can't screw that up ... or can he?

  14. 2 minutes ago, EazyRoc said:

Not only that, but dude was a really good fit. A great 3 and D guy who can space the floor for Simmons. 76ers are going in the wrong direction.

Eggsactly.  They traded a win-now guy who was a perfect fit for what they need and who was a total feel-good story (#HawwtMomToo) for a 'uhm let's redshirt him for 2 years and maybe ....' guy.

Just highlights the fact that they are clueless when it comes to the draft.  It took no insight to draft Simmons or Embiid.  Them guys fell in their lap.  Every other high pick has been a spectacular bust.

    Thanks CageyOne!! I needed that.

Oh, and for those that wanted Bagley (I didn't) ....

MoneyBagggs - You know how Ersan always leads the league in charges taken.  Well, I think Bagley's claim to fame will be in the sheer number of charges he'll commit in his career.  Get used to head-down barrels into the restricted area *tweet* ... offensive foul.  Bagley palms up as if to say, "WhutIdo?"

Who else did anyone want?  I got shade for 'em all.
