And it's not even like he's barking at the refs the entire game. As soon as he says something he get T'd up. There's never a lead up to him getting a tech.

Mo G with 11 points in the first half in limited minutes for the Skyhawks. Is it too late to call him up for the Knicks game?

Agreed. That Skyhawks team is a cohesive unit. I'm impressed by how connected they are on the court on both ends. AJ is clearly benefitting from his time in the G League and looks like he is enjoying the game again. On another note, Vit would be in the NBA right now if he could shoot. He has a unique skillset as a tall PG, but his lack of shooting is really holding him back.

Official Game Thread: Hawks at Nets Part Deux (3 PM Tip!)

No. This stretch of games should get the blame off of Trae for the defense. Him shouldering the blame was totally unfair to him and lets the GM and ownership off the hook for not fielding a better team.- 85 replies

This is why I said the Hawks can end up out of the Play In by next week. They're going to have to hold on to that 10th spot for dear life now that they're only two games ahead of Brooklyn. They really couldn't afford to lose the last two games.- 85 replies

The Hawks have a VERY thin margin for error. They may be out of the Play In by the end of next week.- 85 replies

These head-to-head matchups versus Chicago and Brooklyn with so much at stake have been pretty disappointing. This stretch of very winnable games has been disappointing overall.- 85 replies

AJ looked like AJ before Quin took over. He's not forcing a lot and is playing within the offense. Even the announcers stated how he wasn't trying to dominate the ball and get his and how the coach described him as being very coachable. I thought he had a three pointer or two go in despite the box score showing he went 0-3. Maybe his foot was on the line? But he had some really nice finishes inside. The Skyhawks really get after it on defense and they're more fun to watch than I expected. I'm definitely going to tune in for Sunday's game when Mo G gets back.

SMH. I tuned in to see AJ and Mo G. At least AJ is playing, I hope.

I can only see the box score due to Bally's incompetence. I guess Brooklyn didn't get the memo that they are supposed to be tanking.

Trae Young, The Referees and the difference the last 2 games

Pretty much. Everything turns into a "blame Trae" session no matter what the subject is. -
Trae Young: Surgery on injured finger - Reevaluated in 4 weeks!
hawkman replied to JayBirdHawk's topic in Homecourt
Yeah, I thought I remembered him hurting his hand sometime before the All Star break. I'm not sure if it's the same hand or not though. All I know is, he was a completely different player after that game and the games after. -
If AJ has his shot back and is in the right space mentally, he needs to be back in the rotation ASAP. I don't even care about his defense since the team is pretty bad on defense all around. The team will need all the offense it can get, and AJ can provide that. Ideally, Kobe and AJ end up soaking up all of the backup PG/SG minutes for the rest of the season.

Tanking is the best option for the Hawks right now.

The Hawks have 2 games coming up against Brooklyn. The margin for error will be really small if the Hawks lose those games. -

Regressing back to old bad habits on defense. Get Bruno and maybe even Kobe back in there.

It doesn't look like Quin and DJ have an issue. Maybe whatever rift they had was resolved behind closed doors.

He's doing a good job on switches. BTW, Kobe makes play after play on defense. He's impacting the game without scoring.
