  1. Yeah if Marvin was on the Bucks I think he would be doing some of the same. Kinda hard to get the ball enough when there are 4 guys ahead of you that get the ball more and average 15+ ppg.. Salmons wouldn't be doing what he's doing with the Bucks if he was on the Hawks. Also Marvin is 6 years younger so I'll stick with Marvin.
  2. While West may have gave his all I still don't see him being able to stop Salmons. Salmons is turning into a really good player and looks like a viable number 1 option. His last 5 games he's averaged around 23 ppg. while basically shooting 50% and only missing 3 FT's in the last 5 games. So he's been pretty hot lately regardless of the team.
  3. My exact thoughts. He might see 15 minutes with Bibby seeing 30+.
  4. Cousins lacks great athleticsm. He's a good player but no way I'd trade Horford for him and definately not Josh Smith.
  5. It's like a 30 min. drive. Given that there's no traffic it's like traveling 10 miles in a big city.
  6. That's where I read about him is in the SI article. Sounds like a good player but he is a project.
  7. You know what's funny is I go to that I go to that night club where it happened. I just so happened not to be there that night.
  8. I agree. Boston is too old and they just got older with Finley. Having Nate on their team helps them against us though. He killed us earlier in the year and with his speed and athletiscm only Teague could try to stop the guy. I still think we beat them but we can't play them lightly just because we swept them in the regular season.
  9. Dude has been balling. Hopefully he keeps up the good work. We really need him to be the consistent rebounder every night.
  10. I'm fed up with this crap too. The team has just played like crap the past 10 games or so.
  11. Weatherspoon has been on Falcon fans lists since his junior year. I'm not convinced that Weatherspoon can excel in pass coverage. I'm sure Dimitroff will get a good look at him though and I wouldn't be dissapointed with the pick.
  12. I like Graham alot and we will most likely draft on the defensive side in the first rd.
  13. Camby is of course the ideal backup big on this team. He brings what we need in rebounding and shot blocking. We'd have to unload ZaZa but if were able to SnT Z and a 2nd rd. pick for Camby that would be great.
  14. That sums it up pretty well. Posters on this board really undervalue Joe and actually believe Jamal could fill his role and produce the same way Joe does. It's quite funny.
  15. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=165 Look at last nights stat line. It's so funny because many here actually think Jamal is better than Joe hahahaha. I like Jamal and he's done alot for the team this year but don't get confused. He is what he is and thats a 6th man on a good team.
  16. Bibby and Zaza. Marvin just doesn't get the ball enough.
  17. Nice. I'll love showing that Hawks hat off and you better not have signed it. LOL.
  18. Our low post defense wouldn't even exist without Josh. Al is a good rebounder but people still drive on him all the time. It's noticeable every game when Josh is getting a breather cause the other teams constantly take it to the hole with success. It's been this way for four years. It would be great to have a big like Birdman instead of Zaza but we know that won't happen.
  19. Obviously this should be a win but Minnesota has some nice talent though. Jonny Flynn will abuse Bibby so I see him scoring 20+ easy. I really like Love and he's quitely becoming a star. Hopefully Woody subs Zaza in only when Jefferson is out getting rest because we know what will happen. That being said JJ needs to go to work in the low post and Smoove needs to use his great athletiscm to keep Love off the boards and we should win with ease. Hawks win but Minnesota will keep it close until the 4th.
  20. They've signed Hinske to be the super sub and play 3b/1b and occasional outfield spot starts. Him and Infante make it a versatile and deep bench.
  21. He's "a" top prospect. Kid has all the tools to be very good. It's been rumored since Friday that he's close to signing with the Braves hopefully something becomes official real soon. Just off his potential alone he would be a top 10 prospect in the ATL Braves system without even playing a minor league game. Scouts say "if" he was a draft eligble player in the MLB draft he would be a high first round pick.

    Zaza

ZaZa looked like trash last night. I mean he didn't do nothing last night. Why in the hell is he bouncing the ball in traffic when he's that close to the rim? Dude really pissed me off last night.
  23. So this means he'll likely be the opening day starter. With JJ having a slight setback it even increased more that Huddy would be the number 1. Even with the week or two delay in JJ's ST I still think he's the ace. my rotation would be JJ Hudson Hanson Lowe Kawakami I know BC wouldn't do it and Lowe would be the most expensive number 4 pitcher since Chan Ho Park but that would be my order.
