Guest
http://www.nba.com/hawks/news/Hawks_Previe...s-53690-33.html We won 33 games last year and appearently Big Dog/Theo/Ham are only worth 4 extra wins.
beav
well you have to factor in the heart-breaking loss of bowdler...
Guest
Yeah instead of bring in guys like Bowdler/Mark Strickland/Email/Hanno we will bring in Ham/Nazr/ Glover/Hendu...Those four might not be great, but it doesn't take a real smart person to see the difference. Gray Mule
Theo is ready to play. Big Dawg is here. Ham is here. We have Newbie for the full season. Jason Terry has all that experience being point guard in the last half of last season and we have Dickau to back him up. Kruger has another year's experience as an N.B.A. coach. Our veterans are finally healthy. Henderson is ready to play meaningful minutes, for example. I know we suffered a blow when DerMarr went down for the season and we replaced him with Ham, but I thought that, all things being considered, we were in pretty good shape for the coming season. N.B.A. General Managers voted the Atlanta Hawks the most improved team this season and we guaranteed the fans that Hawks would make the playoffs this year. Will a four game improvement mean that we will be in the playoffs?? I sure hope so because I am looking foreward to seeing them there. If the Hawks are the most improved team in the N.B.A. and we gain four games over last season, where does that leave the rest of the teams?
