lush23
I am beginning to think that Rajon Rondo is the perfect fit with the talent the Hawks have acquired so far. We need an athletic, quick PG to push the tempo for J.J, the Josh's, & Marvin. Build this team similar to Phoenix. We don't need the traditional 5 position player. Rondo is tough and his game should flourish in the NBA. I can see him getting to the basket and scoring or dishing to his high school teammate Josh Smith. I would trade down from #5 and draft Rondo unless Aldridge drops to 5 which I don't think he will. We can go big in the 2nd round and in Free-agency. ATLBob
What's a good target range for where Rondo falls? Would 13 be too high to take him?

Moderators AHF Posted June 11, 2006 Moderators Report Share Posted June 11, 2006 Quote: What's a good target range for where Rondo falls? Would 13 be too high to take him? Definitely not too high for him at 13 if the recent reports of his workouts and team's interest in him is to be believed.
Spiral
I am really starting to like the idea of drafting Rondo. I think him and JJ could be the next Mookie & Smitty. Couple that with the atletic players we have at forward, we could be like the succesful Hawks of the 90's.
CBAreject
Just want to revisit the best trade Pete Babcock ever made, in my opinion. Rumeal Robinson for Mookie Blaylock. What an outright steal. BTW, close 2nd is Kevin Willis/pick for Steve Smith and Grant Long.
