Hawks Just Short Against Pistons

It was a tough game to lose.

It wasn’t tough because every loss is a tough loss. It wasn’t tough because it dropped the Hawks to eight games under .500.

Tonight’s loss was tough because, for the most part start to finish, the effort was strong on both ends.

It was tough because the Hawks got good shots, especially late, but the bounces were not kind.

Ultimately, it was tough because the Hawks played the way they needed to play against tough teams like the visiting Pistons, but it wasn’t quite enough, going down to defeat 90-86.
