BusBoyIsBack
Too easy. No way should we take Brewer over a PG. And the best PG prospect is Conley Jr so if he fell to us we have to take him.

jezmund
You can always add the idea of moving Marvin for the highest bidder if we do indeed like Brewer. 3-way deal: Atlanta gets: Andrew Bynum and Jarrett Jack (for MW/SW/Lue) Lakers get: Lamarcus Aldridge and Tyronn Lue (for Bynum) Portland gets: Marvin Williams and Shelden Williams (for Aldridge/Jack) That deal might be far-fetched, unfair, whatever. This trade is strictly for example purposes. I don't see Lakers moving Bynum unless for a proven vet anyways and I'd have to think Portland likes what they have in LA. Jarrett Jack / Anthony Johnson / Salim Stoudamire Joe Johnson / Josh Childress Corey Brewer / Josh Childress Josh Smith / Solomon Jones Andrew Bynum / Zaza Pachulia / Lo Wright Looks pretty sweet with proper coaching, though. The question is for me, is Brewer a better prospect than Marvin? What is Marvin's true value around the league? Would Marvin blow up on another team and make us look even stupider? Iman
I dont see Brewer falling to our #11 pick which is what these scenarios seem to be proposing. If Brewer does fall that low, I'd take him and figure it out later. He should have substantially more trade value than the unknown point guards we might get otherwise. Even just later in the draft you could probably trade down with whoever took the point you wanted and get that point plus a future pick or additional player. jezmund
I was thinking the same thing re: Brewer's draft placement. We'd have to swap places with Portland to get him probably.
