Picks In Play : NBA sources say that as of this morning the #3, the #5 and several picks in the bottom of the first round are available. Yi Jianlian is rumored to be going number three, but not to Atlanta. The Hawks are expected to draft Yi and trade him off later for a later pick and possibly future compensation. If the Hawks do indeed keep the pick - because there is a real discussion taking place with the Hawks and the Suns - that could involve Yi and Marvin Williams heading to Phoenix in a Shawn Marion deal. Hawks sources say there are about 25 different scenarios being tossed around, but the Hawks actually keeping the player they draft at number 3 seems slim.

Yes, the Hawks will trade for the 15 million dollar man with Marvin and a draft pick? It's not even possible, much less likely. How does Marion help us? In what universe could he be worth anywhere near as much as Yi alone (considering age and salary) not to mention including Marvin?
