HAWKS1986
Is Conley, Jr prepared to step in and hit a clutch shot at the end of game or is Acie Law? Childress wasn't ready as a rookie. Marvin hasn't been ready as of yet. Josh Smith struggled in his first year. This pick isn't not about three years from now, but who is more capable of leading this team NOW and being the 'extension' of the coach and can take responsibility when needed in terms of making the big shot.. You have to pick Acie Law, right?
Dexmethylphenidate
Woodson doesn't like to start rookies. So if Speedy/Lue/AJ are healthy they will start over them.

Woodson really doesn't have any choice if he decides to use these two first round picks. Magic started in his rookie year. Bird started in his rookie year. LeBron started in his rookie year. Grant Hill started in his rookie year. Dwayne Wade started in his rookie year.Le Bron started in his rookie year. Lue and Speedy are injury-prone and unreliable. They may play 40 games and be a factor in maybe half of them..that's not good enough.. We need a hungry, young player if this team is going to 'get over the hump'.. not a complacent veteran who already got his 'big money' and just playing out the string.. Woodson got to find the right 'young player' now or his head coaching career is OVER...

I disagree completely. The pick is most definitely about who will be the better floor leader for the franchise long term, not what the guy can do as a rookie. Neither of these guys are gonna make us contenders right off the bat. Acie might be a better rookie, but I only want him if he's the guy that can be the best PG for the team for the next 5+ years.
