Approximately eight teams contacted Chauncey Billups' agent Andy Miller on Monday concerning Chauncey's cost and demand for playing time. Other teams that are interested and have called Miller are the Knicks, Wizards, and Atlanta Hawks. Two teams that have interest, but did not make an effort to call Miller were the Nuggets, and you guessed it, the Timberwolves.

If Chauncey Billups is the type of player the Hawks would pay for.

Is it me, or is he the similar build as Dion?

At any rate, if the Hawks did call I am sure it was to say that they would be interested if Billups were looking at the minimum contract.

Of course, I would bet that this is another case of an agent simply listing teams that allegedly need a PG, regardless of whether or not the team has really contacted him, in order to boost his client's marketability.
