It really might be worth a try. Maybe he's learned his lessons on always going after talent...and some of that free reign will be removed regardless, considering few have the pockets of Portland and Allen...

in a word, yeah, I'd take him over most options...

...and is still employed by Paul Allen to do so. I don't think Mr. Allen would sign off on Bob working for another NBA team, and I don't think that Bob would want to work on both coasts.

exactly right... whitsitt lives in seattle and will remain with the seahawks... extremely unlikely that he will be a candidate for another NBA job in the near future...
