Question for AHF

I have not seen anything concrete from the trial court since the appellate court remanded the case. The public statements made by the ASG after they prevailed on the appeal were that the Judge's previous order limiting the duration of contracts, etc. would no longer be in effect if Belkin did not appeal the decision. Belkin didn't appeal, so if the statement about the order expiring after the case was remanded was accurate then there would be nothing prohibiting us from exceeding the cap. That said, Belkin could always seek another order and the fact that the Court has been sympathetic in the past to the argument (about why exceeding the cap would be a hardship if he prevails) signals that there could be later restrictions on this. Belkin's efforts to take over the team are still not done as far as I know, and as long as he is claiming the right to buyout the rest of the ASG there remains the possibility that we could be subject to additional restrictions. At least we know he can't get up the mountain on that with the argument he previously prevailed on (that the objection language in the contract implicitly contains a "first in time, first in right" clause which logically results in the conclusion that the ASG breached the agreement so as to give rise to his right to buy the ASG out at cost).
