HAWKSFAN Posted July 2, 2003 Report Share Posted July 2, 2003 The Cavs traded Wesley Person and Lamond Murray last offseason, thats why the Cavs players didn't have great assist totals. I watched a lot of Cav games because my friend likes them and I wouldn't to be able to argue about them and actually know what I was talking about. Their offense was built around Wesley Person coming off screens early last season. Both Person and Lamond Murray are catch and shoot type players. Rarely did you see Andre making any nice passes or even difficult passes. It was just pass it to a man and have him hit an open J. Most players assist totals would flourish when playing next to Person and Murray, but the team wouldn't be any good, and it wasn't. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
