Examining Bibby.

WHat I believe is that keeping Bibs only makes sense if that in the summer of 2009, when Bibby comes off the books, we have enough under the cap to go after a FA.

That means that if we resign Smoove and/or Chillz and there's no money left under the cap even with Bibby gone, then we should not keep Bibby but we should use him to get a player who could help us.

Me personally I would like to see Bibby gone, he was traded for to be a pass first pg not a chucker

although i like what Bibby adds to the team and like him with our young guys (despite the feelings on the board and his bad series), trading him in his contract year would probably be a good things for the Hawks. But only if Acie is ready at that time (which he could be) and we get a back up point guard....but the player we get back MUST be a good player.
