theo at the 4.....

If Nazr is healthy this year, I'd like to see more of Theo at the 4 and SAR at the 3. Something along the lines of:

JT/DJ/SAR/Theo/NM

would be a pretty long lineup to matchup against. if DJ isn't ready (and it sounds like that whole Grizz contract thing was BS), Diaw or a cheaply resigned DG could hold down the 2.

The one thing we need for the lineup to work, however, is a back-up C. I wish we would have signed McCaskill to the league minimum. Maybe bringing back Moore for $500,000 would do. that would allow our second string to be:

DD/??/CC/Hendu/Moore

I think that's a horrible idea. Theo-Nazr combination would score no points, and we already are going to struggle somewhat with our offensive production. Also SAR belongs in the post where he dominates, which makes him a natural 4. Also nobody even decent as a backup C is left. I see

JT/?/Diaw/SAR/Theo as our lineup for sure for this season. The only question is which swingmen will we pickup before the season starts.

...and Diaw is a scoring machine? The guy has no jump shot.

We obviously can't play that lineup for 48 minutes because of matchup problems, but we could for short periods of time.

i'm not suggesting that we play that lineup all the time, but having Theo at the four would significantly improved our presence on the boards....

no diaw won't score either but he will set others up to score and help our offense out alot. Theo, and especially Nazr make virtually no offensive production, even though Theo's offense seemed to improve last season
