Premium Member Scott Posted July 26, 2003 Premium Member Report Share Posted July 26, 2003 Will the Hawks invite David Anderson to camp this year. I can't remember where he plays. Wasn't he a powerforward.
HawkTodd
Yea I haven't heard a whole lot about him this off-season. Here is some info I found on him. cyman3
I saw his stats at one EURO website once... wasnt impressed at all. If he couldnt compete at that level, dont even bother coming here... esp when ur a PF since its more physical here.
HawkTodd
I wouldn't give up on him that quick. If you look at the players coming from over there most of their stats arent that impressive. Although I did hear from somewhere that he had a worse year then what they expected. I also saw he was injured during part of the season. 17) Phoenix: Zarko Cabarkapa: 11.6 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 1 apg 19) Utah: Aleksandar Pavlovic: 9.6 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 1 apg 22) New Jersey: Zoran Planinic: 7.8 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 2.8 apg 30) New York: Maciej Lampe: 4 ppg, 2.7 rpg 39) New York: Slavko Vranes: 0.7 ppg, 1.7 rpg 42) Orlando: Zaur Pachulia: 4.4 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 0.2 apg There is just a few examples of players in this years draft that didn't put up big numbers while playing in Europe. David Anderson: (Virtus Pallacanestro Bologna) 2002-2003: 8.7 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 0.6 apg 2001-2002: (Virtus Pallacanestro Bologna) 8.6 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 0.4 apg Euroleague profile. http://www.euroleague.net/plantillas/jugador.jsp?id=AKT
