I believe if we were planning to start over.....

We'd probably trade Shareef. My Feeling is that we could probably send Shareef to GS for Mills/Murphy/Sura. What that does is get us a good Low post player cheap and get us 12 million dollars in cap relief next year.

The question is:

JT/Sura/Diaw/Murphy/Theo... Is that enough movement.

In my mind, probably not. Theo/CC/Hendu to Dallas for Finley/Lafrentz.

Again, another trade that gives us more of what we need.

JT/Sura/Finley/Murphy/Lafrentz.

This team has all the components of what the hawks are looking for... ending contracts and young players. With Finley/JT/Murphy being the new core. Next year, we'd have enough money to make a push for Kobe.

I happen to believe that he'd be looking for this type of situation. A team with some talent but mostly in role players who can help him shine.
