lunar
looks like it won't be televised as ESPN s cutting to commercial break. The Pick was Sergiy Gladyr http://insider.espn.go.com/nbadraft/draft/...?playerId=19419 Chad Ford's Analysis: Draft Projection: Second round to undrafted Notes: Gladyr declared for the 2009 NBA Draft and is staying in the draft according to his agent Bouna N'diaye. Plays for MBC Mykolaiv in the Ukrainian League. Averaged 16.3 ppg and 4.4 rpg in 29 mpg during the 2008-09 Season Positives: Good perimeter shooter Excellent scorer with deep range Can get to the basket Strong frame Solid athlete Negatives: Not playing at the highest level of Europe Poor decision making Lacks experience and maturity Summary: Jun 8 Update: Gladyr was another bit of a surprise at the camp. The early entry was highly regarded by a few international scouts coming in, but most thought he was a year or two away. However, Gladyr used his combination of length, athleticism and shooting ability to put on an impressive performance in the camp's all-star game (18 points, 4 boards, 2 steals, 50 percent shooting from 3). He had a very solid year in the Ukraine and looks like he's got the right physical tools to be an NBA player. He could definitely hear his name called in the second round if he keeps his name in this year's draft. Apr 30 Update: Gladyr has been flying way under the radar in the Ukrainian league but a couple of international scouts who have seen him play say he's got NBA potential down the road. A potential second round sleeper. don't really get this pick. i would have gone with Nando De Colo. Edited June 26, 2009 by lunar

BigDirty
He played for a bad ukrainian team, but at least got a honorable mention from the eurobasket guys when it came to all-league teams awards. I would've liked Savas, De Colo or Mills better as far as prospects than we can park overseas. EDIT: Ha Dijon Thompson was the defensive player of the year in Ukraine according to the eurobasket guys. :laughing5: Edited June 26, 2009 by BigDirty
