He has a player option for 2010-11, I'd imagine he'd pick it up even if we sent him to the Knicks.

They don't even use him this yr. Its pointless. He is a solid 3 pt shooter and should be starting over Marvin. Marvin is in a huge slump and at least Mo hustles and is aggresive.

The problem is that player option. At one point it looked likely that he would turn down the player option to become a free agent but the more he struggles the more incentive he has to return for another year. Far from him clearing up caproom for another team he would cause a problem. Though maybe if the Hawks were sending him to his preferred destination he would agree to decline his player option to get the trade to go through.
