swolehawk2
How many times does this team say, "we went one on one" or "we stop sharing the ball" or "we stopped attacking" or "we took too many jump shots?" Same old sad song; when does it change? Edited February 27, 2010 by swolehawk2
DJlaysitup
How many times does this team say, "we went one on one" or "we stop sharing the ball" or "we stopped attacking" or "we took too many jump shots?" Same old sad song; when does it change? Yeah swole...it's pretty obvious that these guys are only giving lipservice to the idea of real team basketball. I guess it's a combination of things - petty rivalries/egos on the team - contract years - lack of respect for the coach/offensive system - and more. It is annoying as heck to hear these quotes. It's like Otis Campbell promising Andy and Barney that he won't drink anymore. It's even annoying sometimes when we win. I've seen multiple games where we won with the same kind of selfish play and in the post-game interview our guy will say it's because we "turned up the defense and shared the ball" and I'm thinking...that's not what I saw..we just made more shots than them.
