Johnson and Smith are probably going to go to training camp as non-roster invitees. They may have already agreed to deals which have not yet been made public. Jackson is the best remaining free agent on the market, but the teams with money don’t really need shooting guards. Atlanta would make sense for Jackson, depending on how the Jason Terry situation is resolved. Glover is a rotation player, but that ranking was very generous in hindsight.

Atlanta - The latest news on Jason Terry, courtesy of ESPN's David Aldridge getting ahold of General Manager Billy Knight in Europe, is Atlanta will match the offer sheet Terry signed with the Jazz. This is definitely good news for Hawks' fans.

News: The Jazz sign Atlanta guard Jason Terry to a free-agent offer sheet.

Commentary: If the Hawks decide not to match the offer, I'm prepared to declare this summer a mild success for the Jazz. If Atlanta keeps him, I would say the Jazz have done a wonderful job of negotiating contracts for other teams.

Without Terry, the Jazz will need every one of those 21 scheduled promotions to attract fans to the Delta Center. And even then, Russian Nesting Doll Night and Reversible Bucket Hat Night may not produce big crowds if Carlos Arroyo is the starting point guard.
