I honestly don't think he is coaching material. I think this ownership understands the need for local roots, and I would imagine Nique will be going higher up in the organization before too long...

Yo, Larry Smith. I'm glad we got this guy on board. He was Rudy T's top man in H-Town. Again, why are we getting upset that Nique is not an assistant. I just don't think that should be his role here. The new owners sound like they'll give him a HIGH position, that will not risk him being fired. I think a coaching position is too risky. If Nique succeeds, that's great, but if he fails, some will remember him as another great player who flopped as a coach. Keep Dominique in a management position, please. I would much rather see that...
