Good point. Houston got Lin and Harden. Seems like they can contend

idk...they may have made that trade out panic over Lin's less than stellar preseason.

Maybe. I think they more just needed a star. They made a gamble. At worst, if they're still bad they get a good pick and Toronto and Dallas are both bad and give OKC some more talent. At the very least, they have cap room, Harden, and a tremendously underrated C going forward.
