I've never really heard a successful D-League story. Anyone wish to share? I've heard about either players going there to die or going there for a handful of games but not for any extended period of time.

I think Danny Green played some D-League and of course we have Linsanity :-)

But it's also about waiting a year to start paying the guy on a rookie contract.

But it isn't like you have to pay him more then he would earn in europe, so why would they decline the hawks offer?I guess, nobody in Utah discusses this over Burke even if US players have the same rights.
