Awesome British Open..or.."the Open"

I've never believed much in "Karma"..or if there is karma it is generally self-imposed.

But - WOW - Philbert Mickelson just played the best final round in a British Open to win the Clarret Jug going away. Cool.

Philbert was actually known as a bit of an arrogant player earlier in his career. He had the shots and he was a quality self-promoter.

He has matured well.

It was awesome to see Phil hugging his wife and kids after such a great winning round of golf while the earlier media pictures of Tiger and his girlfriend (?) Lindsay Vaughn fade into memory.

Phil could have ditched his bride when she came up with breast cancer a few years back - but he didn't. He hung in there..and he deserves this BIGTIME. His wife deserves this too. She has been lucky enough to survive breast cancer...many have not been so lucky.

Oh...and P.S. - Phil is a big football fan - so how can you not like him?
