We have work to do and we aren't even in the top 10 as of today, but I have confidence the team can use these next two weeks to sky rocket up the lotto standings.

It would only make sound waves, but you would need sound receptors to turn those waves into sound.  So if no one, or no animal, with "ears" was around, then no, it would not technically make a sound.

WAIT!  If no ears were there but a recorder or a mike was there, Spud would hear it, either live on the mike or later on the recorder.
