Gray Mule
Denver Nugget's new inturm head coach Michael Cooper met and defeated the Philadelphia 76 ers last night. Playing a role in that victory was s starting guard by the name of Johnson. Late in the fourth quarter he was covering A.I. who is their leading scorer. Johnson did a good job on defense all night. He didn't do too bad offensively either. He had 18 points, 5 assists, five rebounds, two steals, a blocked shot and hit two key three point shots late in the fourth quarter. He picked up 3 personal fouls in his 32 minutes on the floor. Sure, there were other contributing factors in the victory. But I thought that it was interesting that Johnson would be a major player for Michael Cooper in his first game as head coach, don't you? Always good to see an ex-Hawk do well for his new coach. Too bad we had no use for his talents here. DerMarr sure looked good for the Nuggets!! Go Hawks
BOShforRoy
Yeah, i was watching this game and Demarr played great on both ends of the floor. He was playing great defense in A.I in clutchtime, rejecting his shots and was superb on offense. He has been the leading scorer when Carmelo was out. Still, I wouldn't want him here in Atlanta considering all the swingman we have.
Admin
He played the major part because their starting 2G Buckner pulled a groin in practice. Buckner beat DJ for the starting job, although if DJ keeps playing like this and Buckner misses any length of time who knows what might happen.
