coachx
Is it something like 4 years, 42 million. That is really not bad. He would be FA when he is 33, that is not too old. What is salary cap situation now ? What can we afford for the 12 roster spot? It seems hard to find salaries since they took it off realgm. jaywalker72
Robinson has 3 years left on his contract. This season is at about 9 million, next season is around 10.5, and the final year is around 12 million.
Hawksfreak
I hope we sign him for longer! What do you think we are going to do with him jaywalker?
coachx
3 years is really the perfect length (29-32). At 32 most player start their decline anyway. We will get 3 productive years out of him atleast. He could attract trade offers in a couple of years since he is a reliable vet who in a few years would have an expireing contract to clear cap room for another team in need of cap releif, or we could let his contract run out and keep the cap relief for ourselves to pursue a younger free agent in 3 years. We will need to get $$$ from somewhere to resign JT after this year, Glover will also be a FA.
