Brxa
From: Mercury City: Clare, Mi USA Subject: Atlanta offer Comments: According to a couple of posters in Atlanta they heard that Billy Knight offered to trade Al Harrington and their draft pick for Darko and filler (assumed to be Hunter)... Since I can't find the original source I'll treat this as speculation at this point. I could understand the reasoning from Atlanta's perspective... they have Harrington signed for one more year... Woody may believe in Darko from what he's seen in practice (and the recent game)... The question is does this make sense for Detroit? A couple scenarios where it does make sense would be if LB plans on staying for a while and doesn't „see it” from DM... or Darko has made demands knowing he's locked on the bench as long as X2 is still around Darko and Hunter for Harrington and the 1st pick in the draft (Bogut or Marvin Williams)... Make sense or no?
CBAreject
ROTFLMAO homering? this is beyond homering? we might consider trading harrington for Darko and Detroit's 1st rounder. Harrington + Bogut for Darko? Are you serious??? And then they ask if it makes sense for Detroit! This is too much! Oh my sides!
KBatPCSOM
There is absolutely no way on this earth that Billy Knight offered Al Harrington AND the top pick for Darko Milicic and filler. Billy Knight wouldn't offer Al Harrington for Darko straight up.
Gray Mule
Surely you jest. Why would we even consider that one? Not saying that Darko Milicic isn't a nice young player that may do well in the N.B.A. sometime in the future. You want Harrington and a lottery pick for him? Wow! How about we trade you Collier for him, even up? That sounds like a pretty even trade. Maybe you could throw in a couple of second round picks to make it work. Hawks MIGHT consider that one.
