Wurider05
Sure an undersized center can get the job done on most nights but his theory out having Smith, Williams, and Harrington in the lineup would be crap unless we can accomplish one of these three things: 1. We sign or draft and PG who can shoot the lights out. 2. CHillz improves his outside shot enough where the opponents respect it. 3. We accomplish both 1 and 2. A shooter would open the floor up big time and then we could use could the system more effectively.
unknownjdb
3. should be that one of our three forwards (Smoove, Al, M.Will) need to be a Ben Wallace or Amare Stoudamire-type force. Yes, it may be possible to run a three forward team, but it will take some time for all our members to grow into their respective roles. Smoove needs to prove that he can be a Ben Wallace or Amare Stoudamire-type and M.Will (if we draft him) needs to prove that he can do what KB has said he can do. If Al can lose some weight and work on his defense to become somewhat of a stopper I can see him becoming Rasheed-like (nimus a couple inches). Can M.Will be a Q.Richardson-like? If this all happens by next years draft we would only need to worry about a PG. ATL PG = ??? SG = Chillz SF = M.Will PF = Harrington FC = Smoove DET PG = Billups SG = Rip SF = Prince PF = Rasheed FC = Ben PHX PG = Nash SG = Johnson SF = Richardson (Thomas) PF = Marion FC = Stoudamire

falc82
Out of all of those lineups we are the only one not starting someone over 6'9''. I believe if we do draft Marvin then either he or Josh Smith will be our PF and Harrington will be dealt at some point near the trade deadline.
