About bringing back Stacy Augmon in a small trade?He can defend the

2/3 positions and maybe we could get him cheap from the Hornets?

I like it! I'm not so sure he would want to come back, but he would be welcome. He was never used properly as a Hawk, but this time he would have a clearly defined role as defensive stopper on our bench. Not sure what NO would want for him or if they'd consider trading him, but it's a good thought. Would we want to sacrafice Dion in a package with CC and EDavis for Augmon and Lynch(who asked to be traded)?

Not sure that works, but I would trade DG/CC/EMail for SA/GL any day of the week.

DG is an offensive sparkplug and CC is an out of control slasher injury waiting to happen. Stacy is a defensive stopper at 2/3 and Lynch is a defensive presence at 3 that could carry some major minutes if we needed him to. I would especially do this deal if we do indeed sign Ira.

Remember, Lynch was a starter for 3 years in Philly and did a fabulous job as the defensive SF. Augman is getting older but can surely hold his own in the defensive end and Ira was our starter and defensive specialist.

You would have a good blend of Offense and defense on that team. Offense = BD/SAR/JT/Theo/DJ Defense = Theo/GL/Ira/JT/SA

You would have the ability to keep the hot hand on offense in the game while you sub for the other players stopping the opposing team.

When then we would have no scoring off the bench.It's hard to

trade Dion and not get any scorers off the bench in return....

Signing Erik Strickland might be best idea.
