Suns not matching?

Got this from the ESPN Boards:

According to reports, the "big name" radio talk show host there ("Gambo") announced that he had spoken in depth with JJ, and that Johnson will be taking the big money Hawks offer due to his being "furious" that the Suns gave Quentin Richardson big money last year and strung him out after promising differently.

Apparently the structure of the Hawks offer is heavily front loaded and can't be matched, to say nothing of hopes of having enough $ for Amare Stoudamire next year.
