  1. Shaquille Harrison just got cut, might a good addition, big PG with good defense
  2. Zubac might be gone from Clipps, someone will make an offer and Clipps cannot match, Green is a FA. They are extremely thin at bigs. Zubac is still 22 with good FT%, we could make an offer to him and have our backup C.
  3. I guess Clippers are signing Cousins
  4. Frontcourt is Harrell and??? Outside of Harrell who is the post presence or the rebounders? Beverly is a backup PG, no more
  5. So the projected starting lineup for Clippers is Beverly, Kawhi, George, Harkles and Harrell??? I find it vey weak, they need a passing PG and some bigs
  6. I agree, Morant and JJJ project as future two way players stars, size, athleticism, defense and offense, very good players. Young and Collins might be better on offense but definately worst on defense
  7. For me is NO, Ball, Ingram, Zion and a lot of picks and young players, they have all the tools ro succeed. I don't like the players surrounding Kawhi and George, they don't have a legit PG and bigs are weak, they don't own a pick in many years. I think they will fell short to land a ring.
  8. Chandler Parsons is exactly one of those guys you don't want aorund a young squad, I really hope we cut or trade him, bad lockeroom guy
  9. The options I would consider would be Christian Wood and Khem Birch, advanced stats love them for a reason. Another intriguing prospect is Cheick Diallo.
  10. I am beginning to heat up with Birch, advanced stats are surprisingly good, good defense and good offense, perhaps a little undersized but I think is worth a try
  11. Yeah me too, he would fit nicely here.
  12. I think this is a sign that a move is coming. I hope we sign some young players with upside as Cheick Diallo.
  13. That is a fantastic study on this year's draft, I love it Supes. However as your eye test is telling you Reddish is fantastic prospect I think Bruno is still not ready. However given the FA options unless we are able to land Christian Wood or similar, I would gladly give Bruno 15-20 min to see what he can do. I think he will provide rebounding, some defense and scoring at the rim, good for some backup minutes sharing the floor with a floor spacing PF as Spellman or Hunter. We have nothing to lose. As for the other discussions I am not ready to talk about what we have until I see these guys in action, summer league and some season games, I think is too early and is not that we selected a sure thing, all the prospects have some flaws, the most polished is Hunter of course but scoring at NBA is also a questionmark for him
  14. So after first days of FA our options for a frontcourt addition got trimmed to Javale Mcgee Joakim Noah Cheick Diallo Christian Wood if he finnally is a FA. I would go with either Wood or Diallo, if not give all the time to Bruno. He don't have a reliable option.
  15. Christian Wood appears as a FA on some sites, can anyone confirm if he is a FA or not?
  16. Jordan Bell gone to Minnesota, GSW can still match
  17. It might be a difference if he has to play 23 min and there is a huge drop off on performance because your starting center cannot play more than 25 min. We have a hole and is not certain Spellman or Fernando can cover it, summer league will help to know what we have.
  18. I think we are understimating the contributions we will receive from Evan Turner and Allen Crabbe, another year of experience for Bembry and Len, that are still young players and the growth Young, Collins and Huerter are supposed to have. Those are already 7 players, add the 3 rookies and Spellman and you have a rotation of 11 players, not even counting Solomon Hill that I think could eventually provide some help. We have lost Bazemore, his cobtribution will be replaced by Crabbe. I think is better fit for the team. We have lost Prince and his contribution will be replaced by Hunter, I expect slightly worst offense but definately much better defense. We have lost Lin, but the team had his best run without him, with Adams backing Young. I don't like Turner but he will provide better defense and good passing instead of Lin and anyway is not that Lin was contributing to winning And we lost Dedmon and we do not have a replacement for now... Spellman and Fernando could cover his minutes but best run of the team came with Dedmon missing half of the games. I think he was key for the team, but Spellman and Fernando could cover his absence and we can find someone at FA. Apart from these additions and substractions we have added Cam Reddish that can replace Vince Carter's production. I see we clearly lose with Demon's departure, I don't like our backup PG but is also true that neither Lin or Dedmon were key contributors to the bigger run of the team. We have some young players with potential improvements and rookies that have a lot of potential in paper. We are a big away to be at least as good as last year. Summer lesgue will be a good indicator of what we can expect.
  19. So after the first hours of Free Agency we still have some options. FA: Noel, Looney, WCS, O'Quinn, Kaminski, Vonleh. I would still consider a trade for Dieng. Plumlee for Dieng and a first, win for us.
  20. Danuel House signed for 2m$ a year, that was a value signing by the Rockets, I wanted the Hawks to get that guy but we were already set at wings. Very good signing by the Rockets.
  21. Seems the Hawks are interested in Kyke O'quinn, a little undersized in my opinion
  22. Damn I thought Wood could be signed. I understand trade with Minnesota might be tough but I think Dieng is a great fit for us. Other options we might consider would be Looney and Kaminski although Noel is a better option in my opinion
  23. 15m$ of cap space and presumably a hole to be covered at Center position. Assuming that Dedmon will ve gone with a good contract and Atlanta will not pay big bucks for him what would be the big you would like to sign? Two options I would like 1- Christian Wood, young big with upside, can play PF and C, very mobile, can space the floor, good rim protector, more than average defender. His contract should be cheap, around 4m$ and would provide excellent value for that price, similar to Len. Good fit for the team. 2- Gorgui Dieng, we should have taken him instead of Bebe, also can play PF and C, good rebounder, can space the floor also, good defender. Good fit for Atlanta, his contract is high but he is a very good player when given minutes. Minnesota wants to sign De Angelo, need to dump salaries. We can take Dieng and Teague contracts for Plumlee, Mnnesota needs to add a first so that we can take those salaries. Teague is also expiring, Dieng has 2 years left. 3- Noel, defensive specialist, good rim protector, excellent rebounder, cannot hit the 3, cannot space the floor. Not so good fit on the offensive end but really solves the need of defensive presence at Center position. Those are my 3 top choices. What would be your choice?
  24. Umm I have seen a lot of comparisons for him, some linked to his ceiling, Paul George, Joe Johnson, Mcgrady, some others I don't like like Derozan or Wiggins and other s linked to his floor lije Rodney Hood or even Kevin Knox. I think I see more Joe Johnson than Mcgrady or Paul George but maybe is just me. And I agree he could end as a Rodney Hood....
