  1. Umm I have seen a lot of comparisons for him, some linked to his ceiling, Paul George, Joe Johnson, Mcgrady, some others I don't like like Derozan or Wiggins and other s linked to his floor lije Rodney Hood or even Kevin Knox. I think I see more Joe Johnson than Mcgrady or Paul George but maybe is just me. And I agree he could end as a Rodney Hood....
  2. Ummmm, trade would be Adams and Plumlee for Dieng/Teague and a first round pick. Backup PG and C problem solved. Dieng fits very well on our team.
  3. I don't doubt Trae and Collins, thea advance stats for Collins show a player going for elite group. The real question is what we have added on Hunter and Cam.
  4. I think is going to be more, Huerter a 2, Cam a 2-3, Hunter a 3-4. Hunter cannot play 2
  5. I have never been so excited about a Hawks team, we have an incredible young core with a lot of upside, awesome combination of talent, size and athleticism on Young, Huerter, Reddish, Hunter, Collins... Adding some valuable pieces on Bembry, Spellman, Fernando and Len. Is clear that the main hole unless Fernando explodes is Center. I doubt we have an outstanding option at C on FA on 2020 and 2021. Turner is not FA until 2024. Probably the best option next season will be to continue building through the draft and take Wiseman to complete thw young core. Sounds like better plan that paying a lot for a FA that makes you better now but not enough to win a title or even Conference finals. Stay away of max contracts for guys like Vucevic.
  6. I think the main needs are Center and a reliable backup PG
  7. I would only consider at C on big names Dedmon at around 8m$ 3 years or (I know you would not agree) Demarcus Cousins, I think he could be a good fit here, his behaviour concerns me though. Then if no big names I would go for a young player with upside as we did with Len last year, Woods is my favourite.
  8. Centers take longer to develop, I don't think we can expect much from Bruno on first year, summer league could be a good thermometer but we need to sign a player at C Don't get me wrong I like him but if he can perform first year as these guys we may have really lucky on the draft.
  9. Wagner, Bonga and Jemerrio Jones traded to Washington. I am glad they are not coming here, I saw little upside there
  10. I think that the best FA outh there for us is Christian Wood unless we want to throw a good amount of money in Dedmon's pockets, who is certainly a better player.
  11. Although I have always liked the first 3 you cannot compare their impact to Capela. Capela is much better offensively than all of them, defensively only Noel can be at his level, his impact on Winshare is much much higher, a much better rebounder, he is a much better player. OKC barely played Noel and Capela played for 35 mins on houston , there us ahuge difference. Having said that I would love to have here Powell, Noel or even Holmes
  12. I don't know, I don't think centers like Capela come cheap... I don't see anyone, could you name 3 of them?
  13. Funny I proposed the same on other topic. Capela's stats would make him best player on the roster. He is improving FT% every year so perhaps he can shoot after all. We need a defensive center and he can play a huge role, I would do it for Brooklin's first.
  14. If Houston is offering Capela, would you do Brooklin first fron Prince trade for Capela? Is he a so bad fit with Collins? Hebis a young center with good numbers and can defend.

  16. Christian Wood and Cheick Diallo are the best big FAs out there, Wood would be a great fit here. Dedmon is the best big we can sign, he has been one of the best players at Atlanta, that is what advance stats say, but if he is going to command 15m $ per year on a multiyear deal at 29 probably is better to go with a guy with upside as Wood
  17. Test was on the limit, this is not a big deal, everyone can drink a beer, he should not drive but let's not act as he is a criminal, probably he is not even getting a penalty.
  18. Aa the offseason is starting I am convinced that the big we should try to sign for 2-3 years is Christian Wood, he fits perfectly on this team, probably would be much much cheqper than Dedmon and with much upside, 3 years 15 m$ should be enough. Although we have acquired Evan Turner I would like Hawks to sign a true backup PG, Tyus Jones or Tim Frazier, guys with good enough defense that can also dish and shoot.
  19. I would use half of that money to sign Christian Wood, he is a hounger player capable of playing defense and a very good fit with this team, he would be a terrific addition as was Len last year
  20. I doubt Hayes, Nickeil Alexander Walker or the brazilian silva really become stars in the league to be honest. Could Doumbouya become a star? Is possible.
  21. He is a shooter, with beloe average handling and Passing but so was Bazemore, he scores on jumpers, pull-ups after dribbling and cuts to the basket but he can score in other ways, injuries has cut his consistency but when healthy for an extended period he can be a very valuable player. Defense is not his strength neither.
  22. I doubt Reddish starts, he was too raw at Duke, I think we need to carry him slowly specially as his starting role will come at the expense of Hunter or Huerter. I think we put too many eggs on Hunter's basket not to start him and Huerter showed great performance last year. Best news would be that Reddish outperforms both but bearing in mind his struggles at Duke, his injury, his recovery time, no summer league... I think is safe to say he starts on the bench, hopefully he start at the end of the year, that would mean we made a homerun at 10.
  23. Huerter and Hunter will start, Baze is gone to open minutes for them and Reddish and Bembry. I think Hill will barely play, perhaps as backup PF if Spellman do not perform. However I do see a role for Crabbe, at least at the beginning as the shooter of the 2nd unit, Bembry canot score too much and I doubt Reddish make an impact on day 1.
  24. I was talking about Bembry, I think CP sees him as a wing defensive specialist and I think minutes as backup PG will be rare, still think that if he does well he will play more than Turner
  25. I don't think this is even an important deal for the team, we dealt a 10 min player for another one, contract wise both are even and none of them was going to have an impact on the team. If Bembry does well as a backup PG he will get all the minutes but I think he is seen as a defensive stopper. This deal has negligible effect on the team.
