After the trade we are celarly thin there, unless we can make another trade I think 2 realistic targets could be Alex Len and Alvin Williams, like both of them and would be good additions to the roster, cheap solutions with youth and some potential

Anderson shooting is way better than Bembry, seriously he is a great upgrade for the bench

We got a rotation guy in Justin Anderson, an upgrade over Dorsey and Bembry today, I still have some hope about Bembry. He could even be a draw against Bazemore, I know sounds funny but the guy shoots well and play defense

I think we will sign another PG on F Agency, I liked Taylor but this move open minutes for Bembry I think

So who is 3rd PG now?

How in the hell can you already discard a 24 year old player? Is ridicolous, some player come from draft with nearly that age

So astarting lineup of Young/Dorsey/Bembry/Collins/Spellman is going to be fun to watch, finnally some guys with some potential out there, I expect something from Huerter too

Is a C We could get Doncic and traded for a worst player, we could have even get Bamba, a game changer and drafted Young, that was projected 10-12.... I am really disapointed At 19 we drafted Huerter and we had Robert Williams available, even Okogie or Jacob Evans, hate the pick 30, I like the pick 34, Khyri Thomas, Diop and Robinson available and we trade the pick for nothing? I knew some good prospects would slide, this draft was full of good players, even Frazier was a good bet Really, really disapointed

Bamba is top 5, no way he is available at 7. Dennis, Baze, 19 and 30 do Carter or Porter is too much in my opinion, outside top 5 talent goes down

Spanish press saying Hawks will take Doncic if is available, I would give that news more credit than anyone, reporting in some sites, not just one. I really hope is real although I would prefer Bagley... unfortunately that is not in Hawks hands, whoever is left between Doncic and Bagley, just take him

There is no way we end with the 3 but if we end with Doncic and Bamba or Bagley and Bamba that is a dream draft. I wonder if we could also keep Dennis, a lineup like Dennis/Doncic/Prince/Collins/Bamba is a dream team

I am so high on Bagley... I thought he would fall to us.... now I am convinced he is gone by the time we pick... for me is down to Doncic, would not mind Bamba, definately would hate JJJ and also Young, he might be special but I am not sold on him

Very difficult to make such an expert judgement. However sometimes people mix on strengths realities and potential and that lead you to wrong statements. For example Marvin Bagley or Doncic offensive game is a reality today and can translate now. They will score at NBA. Strength JJJ is potentially a good defensive player but still is not a defensive presence. Has tools and could develop but is still not there. Potential Strength. People talk about what a player can become and value as much as what a player is today, this make no sense and that is how you fail on draft. Hawks need a star, a go to player, that is Doncic or Bagley., 75% you get a good player there. Chances at JJJ, Bamba or Porter are much much lower. They have tools, of course they have but they are still not there. Anyway I would take Bamba and a healthy Porter over JJJ any day. JJJ is a role player at best.

Still think the same, top 3 are Ayton, Doncic and Bagley... i have now Bagley ranked ahead of Doncic, outside of those 3 is Bamba and Porter hands down. I would be happy with Bagley, all-star potential but I think he is going 2nd, so is down to Doncic, Bamba and Porter and for some reason I am beginning to think Bamba is the best fit. Would not be mad if we end with Doncic or Porter and would definately be mad if we end with JJJ. Don’t think we are considering Young, hope not.

2 weeks for the draft and I still feel the same way #3 Bagley or Doncic #19 Lonnie Walker, Troy Brown, Zhaire Smith, Khyri Thomas, Donte DiVicenzo #30 mitchell Robinson, Diop, Holiday, Anfernee Simmons, okobo, Omari Spellman #34 Okogie, Frazier, Mccoy, Duval, Brunson... #14 would be intriguing pick... there is a clear top 13, all mocks. At 14 you have Robert Williams, but there is a decent chance Shai Alexander or Collin Sexton falls there, I would try to get the pick and draft BPA, you have a role player there, a potential starter.

How a guy that is averaging nearly 2 3pt shots per game with respectable percentage already is not able to space the floor? He can only get better. Another stupid statement

I understand that point comparing a Junior and a Freshman, but comparing 4 players the same age and pretend your choice will reach top level and the others will stay the same is just a stupid statement.

Who said that, Bagley can carry a team, has superstar potential, there is a reason he averages 21 ppg and 11rpg of course. Doncic make everyone around better and can also carry a team. Nothing Bamba and JJJ can do. Bamba defensive potential is tantalizing, I admit but Bagley and Doncic skills are just too much to pass

Plain and simple we are desperate for a star and that is Bagley and Doncic much more likely than Bamba and definately JJJ that at best is a good role player

We cannot pass on Bagley or Doncic, is so simple. I don’t know why people are focused on highlighting weaknesses on Bagley and Doncic which might be true and focus strengths on Jackson and Bamba completely forgetting that Bagley and Doncic are today much better players than Jackson and Bamba and have the same age and thus can improve the same. Bamba and Jackson must become twice the player they are today to reach Bagley and Doncic level and still Doncic and Bagley must not improve anything to get things even.... I just get the feeling that people focus so much on potential that completely forget about the player they have today in front of them

I would not take Bamba over Bagley or Doncic but definately better than JJJ. At 19 I would go first wuth Zhaire, Troy Brown, Lonnie Walker...

Ummm the 14 first picks are clear, then it is only 4 players selected for pick 19, Thomas, Walker & Smith... I really doubt all are gone by pick 19, I think we have chances at them. Gary Trent, don’t think he is better than this 3

There are a good amount of guys that can fall to 19 and 30 and fill need, Lonnie Walker, Zhaire Smith, Anfernee Simmons, Khyri Thomas, Dont Divicenzo, Mitchell Robinson, Johntah Porter, Okogie, Troy Brown... I would be more than happy with any of these guys... all have potential to be role players and even starters.

All this talk... this is an easy choice, whoever is left from Ayton, Doncic and Bagley, I have the bad feeling we are going to go with JJJ and this is going to cost us a ton, as it did with Marvin.

When you are on a strong draft like this one and you have the third pick you must go with the higher ceiling player, specially when you don’t have a single star on your roster, is a MUST, you just not select a good player because is better fit to your 19th pick last year.... that is Sooooo wrong. We just need to select what you hope is the next face of the franchise, your new star. That is Bagley or Doncic, I could even buy on Porter but definately not Jackson. I am beginning to get pissed off with all the talk about JJJ, I am beginning to think is not a smoke screen and we are going to draft him and I am going to really get mad about it, this is reminding me th Marvin vs Paul
