If Collins, Dedmon and Bembry start I would say that we could be close to last season.

I hope Reed is the third big, glad Speights is not here, not sure about his influence on the lockeroom.

Exactly, I was refering to rookies at SL, not even a single game at NBA level, not more polished players. I remember significant impact on Howard, Okafor, Drummond, Green, KAT.... Probably more others.... My point is that is not so easy for a 19 year old big to shine on his first appearance at SL, when that happens normally is a good sign of what is coming, that was just my point. Big fails at draft at PF and C had mediocre SL appearances first year as Kwame Brown for example...

Sign Ennis, player with most upside from that list

Reed is more a PF than a Center although can play both positions

Great signing!! We got our starting C, good defensive presence, can score in transition and pick and roll. Strange, first time I ask for a FA and gets signed, Schlenk is looking better with this signing and the Collins pick. Next please sign Willie Reed!!!

Summer league always favors Guard's game, Glover was a scorer and did his thing, fine. That does not mean his game will translate to NBA. Collins is a different history, normally when a rookie big at that age shines in his first summer league he plays well at NBA, some cases come to my mind. On the other hand I have serious doubts about Collins game translating to NBA, he has relied on athleticism and power to score on dunks, he can have more problems against superior competition, I see he is still a little skinny and has to bulk up. Overall I see a player with similar game to Blake Griffin that needs to add strength and that can become a great piece for the Hawks. We will find by the middle of the season how he adapts against stronger competition. Very excited about this selection , great pick Hawks!!!

I already mentioned both as young FA we should consider along with Ennis, Muhammad, McDaniels and some others... I would gladly sign both and run a 3 man rotation at PF and C with Collins. Reed switching between PF and C. I think both could explode here as DMC, Baze... They key issue here is "add hungry players"

Bembry and Collins show continues, I do not want to say it too loud but we got a great player at 19! He must bulk up but he has serious fundamentals. Bembry is a heck of a player, can do all, just add some jumpshooting and we have a reliable starter The more I see, the more I am convinced both should start next year, develop these guys

In terms of the way the play yes, he reminds me a bit. Need the ball to be effective, good slasher and good body control, of course talentwise there is no comparison, Harden is a superstar and Bembry is not and will never be.

After another showing I hope you changed your mind a little, we are not talking about a scorer on summer league, we are talking about an all around player on Bembry. I think he is a special player and we have nothing to lose by starting him. Tough defender, good passer, good ballhandling, good slasher, just lacks a jumpshot but can definately score, Harden did not have 3pt range on the first years, look at him now....

I told you guys, Bembry ia a special player, he can do all and should be starting next year, we have nothing to lose. So happy to see Collins performing, he must bulk up though, I would also start him, we go nowhere next season. Dorsey, still not showing, I am stunned we passed on Sindarius, Hartenstein or Anigbogu for him, really embarrasing pick for the moment, not thinking too much that we also lost the opportunity for Jawun Evans, Frank Mason, Rabb, Bell or Bacon by trading 31. This draft was so deep that I am really pissed at the moment.

Damn Tyler Dorsey is not showing at all.... we have no PG to help Bembry. Bembry and Collins looking good, Stone too.

Not so depressing, I like some young players there, I would add Muhammad, McDaniels and Zeller there and of course Mason Plumlee. I would be more than happy with Reed or Dedmon and Ennis or Muhammad, that would be a good bet.

Well first game on Summer league Bembry outplayed both Prince and Collins, true he did 7 TO, but managed to score at a high %, mainly penetrating. I see some of Harden on him and really think he can be special. Hope defense earns him minutes and I am sure he will perform if has the opportunity. If we have a player with potential and we go nowhere, why we should start other player?

We should try to sign guys like Tyler Ennis, Muhammad, Terrence Jones, McDaniels, Zeller, Reed, Dedmon, Lauvergne or even Motiejunas. At worst they take us to the bottom of the east where we already are, at best some of them develop on valuable players ir even starters, we are not bad developing players. After 2 years of lottery team we will have a team built through draft and we could go after big FA euther with our cap or trade using this young assets. I think players like Reed, Muhammad or Jones could develop in starters with the right situation. This year's team could be Dennis/Ennis/Dorsey Bembry/Baze/Dorsey Prince/Muhammad Collins/Jones/Muscala Reed/Stone/Plumlee Thoughts?

I have said several times, Bembry is special, he should start this year, he knows how to score, he has great ball handling and passing, huge body and tempo control.... he lacks a jumpshot? Well many players lack that and play at a high level. We could have a starter here

Eager to see what we have in Collins and Dorsey, I think both can be contributors next year, yes I say both. Dorsey can really shoot, want to see how his ball handling and passing looks like. Confident that Stone and Kaba can be our Center proyect, I even think Stone could be in the rotation this year. Impatient to see how Bembry looks like. Love him, I would start him this year, if he can fix a little bit his jumpshot he will be an impact player. I think he is the player with more potential in this roster excluding Collins. I see a little bit of Harden in him without a jumpshot. I am optimistic with our young players, the future begins today!!

Strange I just posted him as a good target on other post and minutes after that this post pops up, jejeje. This would be a great signing but I really doubt we are able to sign him, would be a perfect signing for us a good compliment for Collins, a step in the right direction. Dedmon, Ollynik, Len, Alan Williams, Zeller.... there are still some good and young C out there. Reed would be probably best quality/price ratio. Really a productive player when given the minutes.
