  1. I would love to get Miles Turner, I think is best value there
  2. Apparently the Wizards are shoping him, even thinking on cutting him as they are deep and need some financial flexibility. I think we should try to sign him, he is a young and improving player on a position of need where we do not have any good prospect cooking, what are your thoughts? I thought Bazemore would do a better job but Rice has good size for a SG, could even play some SF.
  3. This a stupid move, no upside, below average player, bad contract, I really hate the signing. Bad start for the FA
  4. When given the minutes he has produced a lot. On April in 26 mp3 12ppg, 4 rbg, 3apg, 1,2spg, 0,465Fg% 0,404 3p% He is better than any of out current SG, a reliable player. Phoenix is already trying to sign him
  5. I think this kid is really special, great defense, good Size for SG, can score and dish the ball, still young and improving, an unrestricted FA we should sign him inmediately, one of the best options in terms of $ per quality at Wing position, reminds me Demarre. Thoughts?
  6. Khem Birch, CJ Flair, JAmes McDoo, Deonte Burton would be players I would like to see at summer league roster.

    Hawks Needs.

Bigger needs are wing player and a center I would draft Gary Harris or Rodney Hood whoever is available at 11-12. I would go for a center at FA, Gortat would be my choice and then Hawes. One guy I would try to sign is Ed Davis, I think he is about to explode and is a good big body. Then trade Milsap, Korver and Lou for a star player on the wing and a big. Keep Teague, Mack, Schröder, Carroll, Horford, Scott and Muscala, bring Bebe
  8. Monroe hands down but would be nearly impossible so I would go with Gortat

Asik's contract is bad and will be expiring next year, we need to get something in return. I would trade Milsap and Brand for Asik and Terrence Jones, if we cannot steal Jones from them then I would even trade for Montejiunas. Then trade Lou for OJ Mayo or Danny Granger. Teague/Mack/Schröder Mayo/Korver/Mack Carroll/Korver/Scott Jones/Scott Asik/Antić/Ayón Probably we will miss the playoffs and get a lottery pick, next season with Horford and a pick we could be contending like Gary Harris, James Young, Hood or Glenn Robinson, we could even select Caulley-Stein Teague/Mack/Schröder Mayo/Korver/Harris Jones/Carroll/ Horford/Scott/Muscala Asik/Bebe/FA
  10. Muscala this weekend 17 pts, 16 rpg, ,55FG%, 1 assist, 4 blocks, great game by him. Now he is averaging, 15,6 ppg, 9,6 rpg, 1 block Nogueira came back from his injury for 2 pts, 5 rb, 2 blocks.
  11. Muscala' choice was to play overseas, Spanish league is one of the best leagues in Europe, he will face tougher competition than in D league, a good esperience that I hope will serve to return to Hawks.
  12. Already 3 games on ACB on Spain and Muscala is 4th on scoring and 6th in rebounding total ranking on the league. He is averaging 17 ppg, 7,3 rpg, 1 apg, 0,3 bpg ,46 FG% and 0,92 FT% on 25 mpg. He is really making some noise, the leader on his team against profesional competition, I'm sure Pero Antić is not capable of posting this numbers on ACB. Nogueira has only played one game, after that he was injured on the groin, on that game he poste 12 points, 6 rb and 2 blocks 6/8 FG on 28 min. I will keep you updated.
  13. I already have said it, we are not a playoff team but not the worst team neither. We have great weaknesses, size at all positions, defense at the post, rebounding, scoring from the wings, defense at the wings.... Teague is an above average PG, he is a good building block. Schröder is the best up and coming PG we could get, he has the upside to be as good as Teague. Korver did his thing last year to earn his last contract, I guess we should see more of the Korver from Bulls than last year's Korver, both him and Demarre Carroll are a 15 mpg bench players on the rest of the NBA teams, no other team has a worst starter combination at the wings. Lou is an inefficient player when he is on the court, basically playing him at SG we will give up as much points as he can score. Our only young hope can be Jenkins, I would personally give him 30 mpg all the year pairing him with Carroll, we have nothing to lose. Milsap is a good player but just does not fit with Horford, none of them can score on the post, both combined are weak defenders at the post and we will be outrebounded every game. Milsap is not better than Smith. Brand is an Ok player for the bench but still we lack a Center with size to defend the Howards, Hibbert, Cousins, Lopez, Bynum, Mcgee, Vucevic, Kanter, Drummond, Sanders and some others... We have gotten worst, probably 30 wins is about right for us, we will be the new Raptors or Kings, no playoffs not bad enough to land a top 3 pick...
  14. I think is a good addition, he can provide depth at wing. I guess this could also mean Cunningham will be gone, not necesarily Mike Scott, their skill set are different. Teague/Schröder Jenkins/Lou Korver/Carroll/Johnson Milsap/Scott/Antić Horford/Brand/Ayón 13 players. Korver can play SG also with Carroll or Johnson at SF, those are skill sets that complement well. Johnson provides size and defense at the wing that are much needed on our team.
  15. Smith is not as bad as you guys think, he is top30 talent, he is a very good defensive player and offensively he has some good tools, he will be hard to replace as he formed a good duo with Horford and without him we will probably be on the limit of missing the playoffs and with him Detroit will make it.Problem with Smith is that he is a tweener but I always will wonder how would look a team with Smith at PF and a true C like Howard, we failed to sign a true C all this years.
  16. That's right, only teams with top10 talent win championships, there are some exceptions to the rule but the rule is clear
  17. If Asik is so good why Houston would sign Howard to a max contract with his injury risk? Horford is better than Asik and Teague is better than Lin, we don't need him, the trade should be Milsap for Asik, that will make us a little better because we will be a litlle bigger and Horford could play PF but I have the feeling that now Omer is enjoiying the hype after his first season as starter, next season people will begin to see his deficiencies.
  18. No way Portland do that trade, McCollum and Lou are redundant. Teams that could use Lou as a scorer off the bench would be Toronto, GS, OKC and Sacramento. Perhaps we could have a chance at Terrence Ross, Harrison Barnes, Perry Jones or Jeremy Lamb and Marcus Thornton.
  19. Understand what dingier means, thanks for explaining... it's just that he needs to compare Ellis to a bench player like Lou or Terry to show how much he downgrades him, Ellis is a starter in more than half of the teams, Lou is a bench player on all teams, that is a fact and we can be arguing all day but that will not change. If you want to downgrade Kobe you would not compare him to MJ, you will compare him to Paul Pierce, the important thing is not the word is the player you compare with, that does mean Pierce is better than Kobe? No, you just need to compare Kobe to a worst player to show that you rank him lower than the majority.
  20. In fact downgrading him by comparison to Lou Williams in fact suggest that Lou is considered a worst player which is exactly what I was stating.
  21. Correct me if I'm wrong but that does not make Lou better isn't it? Just don't tell me, call Cuban or Ferry or Kings, Bobcats, Kings, Nuggets, Knicks, Bulls, Spurs, Suns GM, all expressed interest on signing Ellis, I don't remember much teams interested on Lou...
  22. You are free to have your own opinion but for all of you wanting Lou over Ellis at the same price... I would like you to go out and check comments, because out there you will not find much supporters to that idea.
  23. I just don't agree with that, a guy capable of scoring more than 20 ppg consistently with FG% 0,450 are not usually found. The last 2 seasons he has gone down a little bit but he will find his touch again.
  24. I know about that stats but there is one fact, Monta Ellis is a star on the league and Lou is a 6th man at best, he is a better offensive player than Lou and better also defensively although he is not good, but the fact is that Lou is a defensive liability. He has carried the offensive load in all teams he has played and they were bad teams, that also affects your WS, now in Dallas we will see what kind of player he is but I'm sure he will take less forced shots and we will see again the kind of shooting percentage he had at GS and we will see what kind of WS he has, I like what Dallas has done so far.
