    We say tanking doesn't work but we forget it did work. The Hawks passed on a sure HOF player. They passed on the type of player that any FA would give a nut to play beside.The system worked! The Hawks failed.

    They way DF talks about Teague in general terms says it all. Ferry seems to be every bit as stubborn as BK so yeah I would be shocked if he matched.

    Not really as far as the Hawks are concerned. I'm a BS Report fan so I listen no matter what they are talking about.From a Hawks standpoint they love Josh Smith and they love the Millsap pickup. If you're not a BS fan you're better off not listening. I guess I probably should have placed a warning in the original post.

    Ferry has been given too much credit. The man has built nothing in the league yet people act as if he has a successful track record. Right now the Hawks are the '09-10 Cavs minus LeBron.

    I did not like Joe Johnson towards the end, but I will say JJ was the best thing to happen to this franchise since Nique.

    The way I see it Teague pretty much have them over a barrel. He's not worth it, but you have the money, and considering what's left out there matching seems like a no-brainer.

    Some of us are giving DF a high level trust from the jump. I don't understand why. Given what he's done (or not done) he should be starting from level of distrust.Please don't tell me how he traded the untradable Joe Johnson.     Woody's "The shit works!" mentality is catching up with him again. He's never been a good postseason coach. He allowed all that hero-ball stuff during the regular season, now it's too late in the game to get these guys to play together. The guy has no foresight. A good coach would have been making improvements win or lose.
