The Los Angeles Lakers have retracted an offer to Lamar Odom, saying that talks to re-sign the free agent have stalled. Lakers public relations director John Black said the team had taken the offer off the table in the past two days. "There are specifics behind why we pulled it, but that's not something we're going to get into," Black said. According to the Los Angeles Times, Lakers owner Jerry Buss had offered Odom two deals. One was worth $36 million for four years and the other was for $10 million a season for three years. Odom, who will turn 30 in November, made $14.1 million this past season. Black said talks with Odom's agent Jeff Schwartz have been on and off. "We haven't heard from him in the past few days and talks have not been consistent," Black said. Odom played a key role off the bench in the Lakers' championship run. He averaged 12.3 points and 9.1 rebounds during the playoffs. Now we need to go after Lamar Odom and give him that ten million and get another cheap player

i would chose wilcox who would be a great addition off the bench and is a great scorer season high 23 points and would have big games at times when hes hot and Rasho is a better defender and can score too but not as much as chris wilcox but rasho's season high 21 points but i would love to have drew ggoden whos better than both and is one of the best rebounders in the game and can score really well too and not half bad at defense i mean since were prolly not going to go after lamar Odom): :stop:

Anyone agree with this i do, no disrepect to Marvin hes one of my favorite players at times but we need to win now and Caron Butler only makes 20 mill the next two season and he averages 20 points a game and will defintley take off the pressure on joe johnson. and the wizards are looking to get younger and marvins 23 and caron butler is 29 and then sign Josh Chilldress as backup for joe and Caron now thats how we could contend in the east i think we could maybe get him in a sign and trade I mean Gilbert Arenas is making a ton of money alongside with Antown Jamison so they could get younger and cheaper and Caron would make roughly around 10 mill next year
